Good news, thanks Adam and thanks Crytek.

But please remember about two important things: orbital strike lag (mostly on skyline) and random disconnections which are ending with "your connection to host/opponent have been lost".

Edit: one more important thing: as for me the DLC should be related to cd key - not account name!

Crytek plsss increase nanovision range and make it more useful to see cloak people.
Increase effectiveness of armor mode too. The armor mode makes not much of a difference.
Also, remove the overlapping music!

Guess modern warfare 3 put some shakes into you guys.

Anyways despite you shafting us for months (and i do still feel abit robbed) this is a good patch hell the ONLY good patch you've released.

Good job, finally.

keep this up and you would have truly earned my money. Maybe DX11 info? Maybe fix your massive DLC mistake and follow in the witcher 2's footsteps? Brinks footsteps? Battlefield Bad Company 2? anything but Call of duty....

But wait, what can the haters and trolls whine about now?

New Features
? Added advanced graphics options
? Added F1 to vote during vote kicks
? Prematch mode for ranked servers added allowing people to fight on the map until sufficient players have joined for the ranked play to start
? Upped the default score limits in some game modes:
? - Crash Site has a limit of 175 (was 150)
? - Team Instant Action has a limit of 75 (was 50)
? - Instant Action has a limit of 30 (was 25)

I'm happy with all these additions, I didn't have much problem with graphics but it's nice that I can finely adjust and experiment with the options without risking a virus-infested third party app. The simplification to Votekick is something high on my happy list because abused or not, at least votekick is going to be used more effectively now, and possibly kick some well-deserved hackers for once! Increased endgame requirements to the modes should also extend gameplay by a reasonable amount per match.

Fixes
? Fixed vote kicking not working for players with certain characters in their name
? Fixed ping display displaying 1000 for many servers in the PC server browser
? Fixed issue where terrain would be rendered in black on some levels
? Fixed single player save games with broken nano catalyst values (NB: This is for existing save games!)
? Fixed under-barrel attachment HUD displaying incorrectly
? Fixed minor 'Loadout Pro' exploit
? Fixed issue with being melee'd during a ledge grab (which could lead to fly exploits)
? Fixed some AI spawning issues in single player
? Fixed rare crash in single player
? Fixed an audio loop issue on the single player level "Semper Fi"
? Fixed an issue with the DLC store which could lead to players not being able to access the purchase history tab. Players can now access this tab, and from there download their DLC straight into their game and have it auto installed for them
? Fixed other cosmetic issues in the DLC store
? Fixed Light Shotgun attachment skill assessment not being levelled up
? Optimization to SSAO
? Further Anti cheat improvements
? Tweaked in-game audio dialogue (player taunts, announcements, etc) to be more diverse with more content for more events
? Mystery dog tags unlocked whilst not connected to a server will now remain unlocked
? Players that have rebooted will no longer be able to enter "New Recruits" servers

I can now kick the jerks who use (=name=) to circumvent the votekick system? Hell yeah! Improvements to SSAO is nice, whatever keeps my frames per second up I suppose. And what's this? 'Improved anti-cheat'? Sounds promising, wonder why people missed this little bullet point? Additionally a minor issue with the dogtags being solved is nice to hear, it bugged me that I couldn't open them all and keep them open.

Balance Changes
? Balance changes to a variety of weapons, including:
? - JAW rocket speed and damage reduced
? - Under-barrel shotgun effectiveness reduced
? - Removed accuracy bonus for crouching with HMG
? - Increased K-Volt damage
? Balance changes to a variety of nanosuit modules, including:
? - Reduced the bonus that extended mags provides
? - Point fire enhance has improved effectiveness
? - Mobility Enhance has reduced effectiveness
? Balance change to Maximum Suit's armour: effectiveness has been slightly reduced
? Balance change to headshot damage from 1.8x to 1.5x

Shame what happened to the JAW, underbarrel shotgun, extended mags and Mobility enhance. But I'm loving the damage buff to K-Volt and Point fire enhance, I've been using that combo recently and happy to hear it could get even better! More interestingly they've lowered the modifier for headshots, should slow down the lucky shooters and might actually bring armour-mode damage to below 1.0x when shot in the head too!

If the DX11 rumour is true this could warrant me purchasing the DLC as well as running through Single player mode on Post-Human Warrior, just to see the game in lusher graphics and with improved render paths. I won't be butt-hurt if DX11 isn't in this patch, since it's only a rendering path after all, but it would be nice to take advantage of it all the same :)

I don't think that DX11 is in the next patch, but it is announced for a later date.

Shame what happened to the JAW

No it's not, nerfing the JAW is needed imo.

One thing I've noticed about explosives in particular is armour mode is basically useless against them unless you're 5-7 meters away. It would be good if they increased explosive resistance but nerfed bullet resistance to armour mode, that way you can't just JAW someone for an easy kill but bullets are still effective.

On the issue with bugs missing from this patch: I'd much rather have smaller, frequent updates to a game or program than larger, less frequent patches. Sure the larger patches are more satisfying, but as you can tell from people around here, it doesn't take long for frustrations to boil. The irrefutable fact is that no one update will cater to every single player in this game, it's just about waiting for your issue to be solved in a long queue of other issues.

Besides, at least Crytek is trying. They could've easily given you the finger and released no patches and leave it with the DLC.

It would be good if they increased explosive resistance but nerfed bullet resistance to armour mode, that way you can't just JAW someone for an easy kill but bullets are still effective. They nerfed armour mode? Looking at the patch notes they said they nerfed Maximum Suit's armour mode slightly, not armour mode in itself.

? Balance change to Maximum Suit's armour: effectiveness has been slightly reducedBut yeah, JAW does have a tendency to one-shot most people, but I thought if it misses (which happens) the slow weapon change would give you an oppotunity to counter-attack, not to mention that if you get [Delay Detonation III] you can actually negate JAW rockets entirely. But Delay is a tricky one to level up.

? - Instant Action has a limit of 30 (was 25)

I don't really like this mode but in general when i play it (lost all the games but 3 recent games) i find 25 already too much.

? Mystery dog tags unlocked whilst not connected to a server will now remain unlocked

What about the medals?

? - Under-barrel shotgun effectiveness reduced

I just don't get it, the only time i used that i found it balanced.

? Balance change to Maximum Suit's armour: effectiveness has been slightly reduced

It would be nice to know why you keep nerfing the ceph and the nanosuit 2.0.

I liked all the other changes/fix.
