advanced graphics options? I'm sorry, but why? Is this for people to run on their systems better? Will there be any graphic upgrades or will this essentially be hardcoe if turned all the way up? I'm just confused so still no DX11, now we can just tweak DX9? Confirmation please on what this is bringing to the table. If it's still DX9 and just tweaking what we already have this is like polishing a turd, it's still a turd. I guess it's good for some people, for me I'm still waiting on the game i expected would make my PC weep.

My money is on the dx11 being in this patch, maybe too it'll get released tomorrow sometime before the xp weekend, makes sense.
The OP says the advanced thingy will take the graphics BEYOND, also the graphics thingy is the kinda main thing in the patch if you read the OP correctly.

Please crytek... PRETTY PLEASE! Buff Air Stomp, it is so useless at the moment, you can't get any kills with it, you will be lucky to even damage an opponent before he either kills you mid-air or he moves out of the way.... None uses it.... Give us a reason to do.

I haven't played any MP, can't adjust graphics? Are you talking about just individually adjusting certain things for better FPS? The MP has to have graphic settings like the demo

No scores are being reduced. IA is increased from 25 to 30, TIA is increased from 50 to 75, Crash Site increased from 150 to 175.

SkinnyDog, we never stated that DX11 will be paid for and actually confirmed already that it's not paid for. Please do not post false comments like this on this site, as harmless as you may intend it to be, it confuses people wrongfully and unnecessarily.

Advanced graphics options is a largely requested feature from the community. It allows users to custom set particular graphics settings to suit their tastes and system performance. As for the latter comment, i feel Crysis 2's visuals are far from looking like a 'turd' by any standards but for now you'll have to take my word for it that the DX11 update is going to blow your mind We're working on getting some official media for the DX11 update so please remain patient until that becomes available.

Lol nahh not really. OK Cry-Adam. Sorry. I was just making a joke. but i really didn't think anyone would take that seriously!!! But I'm just saying we need a better Anti-cheat. if we had one that we seen physically ban someone it would make a world of difference. i thoroughly enjoy playing the game. but hackers are still a big big problem more then adjusting the suit modes.

Wow. Thank you very much for giving me some quick feedback, I do appreciate that. I do understand the graphics settings for people to find better performance, makes total sense. Was just curious about if it would bring any improvements over the initial presets. DX11 sounds great and I'm patently waiting and excited to see some media for it!

btw LOL wasn't trying to say Crysis 2 looks like a turd, just saying tweaking the game right now without DX11 won't be able to make it any better for those of us who have maxed it out and want more.

The game itself is updated or need to manually download patches?
I'm not online all the time. Sometimes I play offline in single, PC is not connected to the Internet in this time.
