Patch 1.2 problem : Crysis

I have some problems installing patch 1.2 that has been released today. When it gets downloaded from EADM (Crysis 2 Launcher) and it starts installation, it actually starts searching for Crysis 2 folder. It is located in D:\Crysis 2 , and it couldn't find it. Really weird..

well what the hell is it doing in D:\crysis 2??? it should be D:\program files\electronic arts\crytek\crysis 2

You can put it where ever you want...... the game should know that (it knows where the .exe is)

Yeah.. D:\ is where all my games are installed... Program Files and other System files are in C:\ as usual... Still, I can't update the game.. :S

It is searching coz You probably dont have and original install?
Buy this game and do it again.

It doesn't matter if it is original or not... It's still the same .exe file...

Same exe but a little bit cracked.. I have tried a pirate version once and I couldnt install this patch 1.2 It was searching same as you noticed.
I have bought today an electronic version and now it is briliant.

You can buy a serial key without any BOX for your EA Manager account.
It costs about 14$. Then simply download the whole installer from EADM

This is why I don't feel sorry for the PC crowd. Bunch of self entiltied pirates. No wonder why the developers are flocking away from the PC crowd. Just a bunch of kids with no money stealing games.

I dont need a game BOX.. EADM account is for the lifetime
This is 3/4 cheaper and You can play without any problems.

It doesn't matter where your game is placed. You should prolly reinstall the game from scratch. (I'm 90% sure it will work)

go and play your TV games with n little controler and auto aim. People pirate TV games (Xbox, PS3, Wii) as well not only PC, i dont know where you guys get this PC pirate thing from (TV games only sell more because the avarage TV game player is under 9 so they nag there parents for a TV game every few days. The avarage PC player is above 20 so they need do buy there own software - source wikipedia.

Can you help me with to buy a serial key for the game.. i have the game but i want to play online so i need a serial key, do i must buy the FULL BOX game ? or can i pay somehow a serial key?

You can also use other allegro site not Polish one. They have many sites for other countries.
And uninstall this crap pirated version.. You should download a new copy from EADM
