When I go to play the game on my PC, a window pops up and downloads Crysis 2 patch v1.2 Then the EA Installer Proxy screen pops up, and then when I click to OK it, I get a error message saying that it "can not delete target file: C:\program files(x86)\electronic arts\crytek\crysis2\\bin32\crysis2.exe" So the patch does'nt install. gamesas website says:

ANSWER: If your copy of Crysis 2 isn't patching automatically, please check the name of the folder where your Crysis 2 files are saved.

?If your folder is named "Crysis? 2 Limited Edition", rename it to "Crysis 2".
?After renaming your folder, run the patch.
?After running the patch, rename the folder back to "Crysis? 2 Limited Edition".
Your game should now be properly patched and multiplayer content should be accessible.

I can't find a folder named "Crysis? 2 Limited Edition" any where except in the Uninstall screen in my control panel. I am not allowed to change the name, only uninstall the program.

I am having the same problem and I have the limited edition as well

its most likely because of where it installed, u have it in program files(x86) which patchs dont like, so try reinstall in to a different directory, this is a problem only 64bit os has because it installs in "program files(x86)" instead of "program files" automatically, and patchs look for it in "program files"

no, ur save game will still be there but just in case back it up then put back after install

save games are not stored in your crysis 2 directory they will be still there if you reinstall.

I am running 32 bit but still having the same problem: Cannot delete target file: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2\\bin2\Crysis2.exe
