Holy crap guys, why dont people read? The patch's weapon balancing is SECONDARY, the PRIMARY purpose of the patch is extensive work and fixing of engine instablilty.

PC still don't have it yet?

Usually, PC patches come around at 4-5 PM in my timezone, MST, which is 3-4 PM PST, which is where Valve (Steam) is based in.

Just be patient. Besides, most PC players aren't going to get the patch or play with it until NVSE updates to accommodate it.

Here in California it is 12:17 PM, nice and sunny, with a cooling breeze averaging 5 mph.

I am starting to doubt that it's gonna be released today.

I'm betting that someone is sleeping in their office

It's not even 1pm here. Patience kemosabe. If it gets to be 5pm PST and it's still not out for PC, then you can start doubting.

I am kinda with Skyline whenever the patch does come out it will take the Devs at http://www.nvse.silverlock.org a couple of days to update it. Those people are as quick as they can be under the circumstances and much more reliable, I might add.

I think the last update took the NVSE folks about 4-5~ hours from when the patch was released, which was fairly fast.

Again though, when those 4-5~ hours starts, all depends on when FNV actually gets updated. I'm still saying 3-4 PM PST. That's 2-3 hours from now.

Yeah, in terms of NVSE, they're usually really fast. It'd be nice if it was updated as quickly as last time, but I'd be happy if it was within 24-36 hrs of the patch release. I haven't played NV in some time so I'm in no hurry, myself.

Yes, but "Yank" is a derogatory term. You already knew that though.

I'm an American living in Seoul. I've lived in London as well. I've probably traveled to more countries than the total number of friends you've made over the entire course of your life. Only US Southerners and English use the term, sometimes a Kiwi or Aussie will as well just to be pricks.

Lets drop the racism talk for another area of the internet, please.

On the flipside: I'm turning off my auto-update due to the fact that many many MANY of my mods are affected by the patch, let alone their use of NVSE.

I'll probably wait a week before I migrate over to the new patch.

Actually Yank can be derogatory or used in an affectionate manner. Like the term "canuck" for Canadians. It all depends on who's using it, and what they mean. Though this is the first time I've ever heard someone think of Yank as a bad word.

Well, gosh! I was born and raised amid the Foothills of Southwestern Vermont, but have lived in Oregon for the past 32 years. However, I still think of myself as a Yank. Oh, and, my ancestors came out of Quebec Province in Canada too. I guess that makes me a Yankee Canuck :hubbahubba: :hubbahubba: :hubbahubba:
