They look genuine as you can see in the top-right hand corner that there is the Eliminate Enemies as per the current MP.

I really WANT this DLC but I want the patch also. I refuse to buy it until the patch no matter how much it will hurt me lol.

If you look at most all the MP maps, most have a different time of day then whats in the SP. I think Downed Bird and Sanctuary MP and SP are same time of day. Those screens look like they were taken directly from the SP.

I'm skeptical the four maps featured in the article are really MP bound. Otherwise more reputable gaming sites would've picked up the story.

wondering the same thing concerning the number of dlc packages. a working patch(hopefully) and 4 maps is a great start (although free maps for 1st dlc would be better) this quick.

like i said i saw this on tv on gamerbytes, which said the info was from cvg. i also cant find anything on the net about im skeptical too and i made the post but thought id make it anyway.if you must know ive been a member here since the first beta but i was having troubles logging in so i made a new account thats why i have so few posts.like what was said earlier im not the one who vouched for dev saying the patch would be here last week.As for the punctuation im sorry,i didnt realise it made people cry when i dont use a full stop here and there.i dont use punctuation so i am evidently lying.

It would make sense if the patch did come out tomorrow because they would most likely want to patch the game before the map pack is released. Especially if the maps are on the disc already which would require a patch to activate them.

I appreciate that you shared the news with us even if it turns out to be false. I am thinking it's legit though seeing as how http://www.thetechgame.com has pics of the map pack. Of course we'll know by tomorrow.

I don′t know, EA only cares about peoples money so if DLC was to arrive on wednesday there would be much more marketing for it.

ya patch is a must to allow maps dlc because of the assessments and such attached to maps in the game. who knows if the patch will fix other problems as well, considering maps day after a patch that may not work like the last patch didnt would be awful.

Not true. DLC gets released all the time without any heads up from the devs or the publisher. Like Test Drive Unlimited 2 DLC cars that were released last week. There was no announcement made and they just showed up on the Marketplace. For this reason it is possible the DLC and patch could be out this week without any heads up from Crytek or EA. Crytek having been so silent lately indicates to me that they do have a patch ready and waiting to be released as well as the map pack. They will tell us about them when they are released. Like Cry-Adam says, "when we have info we will share it."

Perhaps they are working on a patch, but I don't see how silence would indicate to you that they have been working on one. The wonders of the human mind.

From what I heard Test Drive Unlimited 2 was a load of s*** and was a huge fail, so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't advertise any DLC , they most probably couldn't afford to.

I'm new to the Xbox, only had one for about six months or so but it seems that all the big releases (RDR, BLOPS, MW2, Halo Reach) always lets the public know of DLC prior to releasing it. C2 has been a huge hit with great reviews you would have thought they would have at least mentioned it, and it seems a little early to be releasing DLC. Perhaps, they know the MP is failing and they need to get as much money in as soon as possible.

I may stand corrected, but everything to me indicate thats they are not going to be releasing a DLC in less than 48 hours and they won't be releasing a patch tomorrow.

Let's hope that I am wrong as I want both.

TDU2 did have a bunch of server issues when it was first released, but since then they have updated the game and made it great. Lots of people play it, I never have a shortage of people to race. It may have failed in the reviews, but the game did not fail. The part I said about Crytek's silence is based on experience. I have bought and played all 3 of Crytek's games on day one and it has always been like this with them. They don't do press releases very much until they have something to release. Rather than post daily that "we are working on it" and "it will be here soon" they choose not to say anything until it is ready to be released. Last post about the patch from Cry-Adam in the PS3 section last week was that they hoped to have release notes for us soon. That "soon" could be tomorrow, hopefully.

Well the 19th is done and dusted in Aus. What...... ....No patch? Why am I not surprised, oh thats right, I'm not surprised because nothing was annouced, and nothing will ever be annouced via the "Official" outlet until atleast 3 days has passed after it happening....
