This is because they're rushing as fast as they can to make patches. They are rushing the same way they rushed to get this game released, and that's why they can't make anything that works. With the amount of bugs in this game, you would think it was made in China.

Unfortunately, that migrating host business really ruined my gaming tonight.

I honestly found this game to be relatively bug-free BEFORE the patch. Now it's really not fun anymore. The clan I am in has nearly 40 active Crysis 2 members and tonight was just FULL of connectivity issues and people shutting the game off because they were so frustrated. The menu feels sluggish when going into or just finish a game, the migrating host problem has gotten bad and its actually locking up peoples PS3's quite a bit now.

Very sad.....

I really don't see dedicated servers coming online..., not at this point. P2P is part of the console design and changing something like that is a massive re-write. I can't think of another game in history that launched as a P2P and switched to dedicated servers.

However, I agree with you. Waiting for games...migrating hosts. Something has gone really wrong with this game. I felt like it worked pretty well before. I know people complained, but most gamers who visit forums are just their to flame and cause trouble so I didn't give it much thought. I thought the game was good. Now it really feels very poor....

how about the wepon dlc's? thats kind of alternate P2P game because using $$$$$ to buy new wepons
oh anyway why PC users has the massive dedicated server? and consoles are not?

so i don't see putting dedicated server on this garbage game. so i will sell it.
there's no point playing this game anymore.. developers are just so crazy that they can't fix the game
they are fast if where talking for $.

anyway how much if i sell it on ebgames/gamestop? and how much with powertrades?

Good job u never bought black ops day 1 as that still had issues as late as February for me( sold it at that point for second time, this time on 360).
That game was always doing this with patches. It's Not an exact science I'd imagine, they change few things and they affect something else unknown, so they will have to change those too, and this will go on for a while I'm afraid.
As much as I'm fed up with this crap too( got kz3 with various issues almost unplayed and now this), bit they not only ones to do this , it's every new fps released these days , so we better get used to it.

I have actually noticed more framerate drops than usual since the patch, but I'm sure it'll be sorted eventually. SO far, the game is still playable for me, and that's what matters right now.

Definitely worse. At least you can return your game to EA to get sealed copy to get refund. I am thinking of doing and coming back to this game in 6 months to a year.

i have not played lately. what was the size of the patch?
