Skill trees still in complete chaos. Aka, players being forced to create invisible barriers on what trees they can & cannot use just so they don't break the game. Dragons remain trivial nuisances at best. Cliffracer 2.0. Wonderful

They are not going to "fix" this, welcome to :tes:
The problem you have with it may not be a problem to others, so you can't "fix" that without breaking it for others you see.

Game breaking purple texture bug/memory leak unaddressed. Skill trees still in complete chaos. Aka, players being forced to create invisible barriers on what trees they can & cannot use just so they don't break the game. Dragons remain trivial nuisances at best. Cliffracer 2.0. Wonderful

You wouldn't think so unless you've had a dead body show up to a wedding. Awkward.

Not if you're a necromancer :D

Patch good? Any of those who had huge 5-15 second long stutters every 20-60 seconds get an improvement?

They addressed the most important and wide-spread issues. The purple texture bug I've never even heard of until this thread and no game mechanics are likely to be rebalanced. Balance is EXTREMELY low priority in single player games.

They just need to release the CK. Once that's done, they can leave the patches up to the community.

Yes, I've seen bugs in almost every game I've played.

However, Skyrim has game breaking issues that will likely never be resolved. This is unacceptable.

Although you gave the somewhat snarky reply (I quote verbatim) "because surely your lack of problems is indicative of everyone else" already - I have yet to experience the purple texture bug, or any other significant bug at all, in 109 hours of PC gameplay. This on a PC that very commonly got purple textures in Oblivion, on lower settings. Specs between required and recommended.

While I may not be indicative of the majority, I and people like me may very well may be MORE indicative than your experience - people don't come onto a game's forums to state that they're bug-free. At the very least the presence of bug-free PC players tells me that game breaking graphical bugs and crashes are hardware specific. THAT can be hard to test for.

Maybe you are, maybe you aren't; the point is that plenty of people experience these bugs and I don't really see the point in dismissing their problems or asserting that they're hardware-specific: for the record, enough anolysis of the memory bug has been done in the past to indicate that it is indeed a programming error and not the end-users' hardware; why some people encounter it and others don't is unclear, but there are myriad different parameters that can affect this, even including playing style.

It's the fact that we've had to wait this long for TWO fixes, while the rest seemingly go ignored. Hell, if Bethesda would simply acknowledge their PC port is marginally broken people would simply be happy with the idea that Bethesda is thinking about fixing it. Instead, they're probably going full tilt on more ignorant DLC so the console kids can have their ADD fix.

What the hell is an "ADD fix?"

I had this bug random textures just would not load. I downloaded an update for my graphics card and have not seen a purple texture since, hardly a game breaking bug

"Attention deficit disorder." Not sure if that's more derogatory towards console players or people saddled with said affliction; not very nice, though.

Well, I guess they got their wish; non-functioning resistance means dragons are a lot harder.
