"I don't like the way some skills work" and "not everyone has the same number of random dragon attacks" aren't bugs.

Shame about the purple texture thing, but that seems to be under the umbrella of "Bethesda, please enable LAA, look at all of these things it fixes" (or it worked for me, at least).

am i the only one whos experienced a blue texture bug?

I don't see how a purple texture once every other hour that fixes itself after restarting the game is "gamebreaking"

3 times in 200 hours of play.

IF you notice they are fixing bugs, they probably won't be changing any gameplay features in the near future

So instead OP would want them to not release a single patch until all issues have been dealt with? I'd much rahter have one patch now and another in a few weeks than no patch now and a full package in a few weeks.

Not to mention, smaller patches are also easier for them to test.

If a patch that only makes a dozen changes/fixes causes a new problem. It's easier to work out which change has created the problem.

If a much larger patch makes twenty or more changes, and theres a problem. Thats twenty or more possible causes.

I've seen quite a few games have huge patches with dozens upon dozens of fixes and changes, and the following patch ends up undoing half of them.

The thing is with PC, Beth can release a thousand patches every week and fix all these problems.

With the 360 however, you get 2 free patches (after the launch day patch) then you pay Microsoft fees for any subsequent ones. This is why they'll take their time compiling lots of fixes together. The next patch will surely feature all these fixes that people are bringing up.

Glad to see issues are being resolved at least. Hopefully quest glitches etc. will be solved soon as well but happy to see the huge PS3 issue is fixed now. I'm on 360 but I can only imagine how much it must have svcked for PS3 owners. Some people whine it's not a problem, or not as much as *insert whatever*. Easy to say if you play on a different console or PC(and vice versa).
One at a time folks.

Looks good to me.

If your hardware and setup for PCs is not correct, thats not the games fault.

My game runs flawless on both my PC and my Console and I have no glithces what so ever.

Perk trees also are great, there are one tree that none uses, lock picking, and there are 2 perks in heavy armor tree thats usless and a must have if you want weight nothing, which you dont need anyway with stone of steed.

I dont know what game OP is playing but its not Skyrim with all those lame complains.

Im playing it on Xbox and I have not had a single glitch or bug in this game as of yet, with more then 100 hours played.

I look forward being able to install it on the xbox for shorter loading times.

Skill trees still in complete chaos. Aka, players being forced to create invisible barriers on what trees they can & cannot use just so they don't break the game. Dragons remain trivial nuisances at best. Cliffracer 2.0. Wonderful

There are plenty of reasonable things to gripe about with this update; these are not some of them.

Personally, the only issue they are addressing I've encountered is the non-hostile dragons, which I didn't even recognize as a bug since I could force them to land using Dragonrend or going to a more open area so they could land. I can't believe that they aren't fixing any of the blatant and truly breaking quest/scripting errors that any idiot could fix in the CK in less than a half-hour's time worth of work.

Man this forum tends to attract a lot of inconsiderate people. Do you not realize that they cannot fix every single bug in a couple of days? Do you think you are the only other one who is experiencing an issue? Please, be patient or take a seat in the corner.

I just dropped 60 dollars on the game, I expect it to function properly.

It's pretty clear that either one of two things is happening:
1. Bethesda doesn't properly bug test their games, or:
2. Bethesda doesn't care.

Can we finally keybind both left and right hand to one bind?

Most likely, no. (AFAIK all platforms suffer from that design issue, whereas the fix is flagged PC only)

I think the relevant patch note should be read as "a fix for re-mapping system keys (R/E etc) which can currently break the game".

[hopefully the left/right keybind can be done by the modding community]

1.2 Patch Notes

Game breaking purple texture bug/memory leak unaddressed. Skill trees still in complete chaos. Aka, players being forced to create invisible barriers on what trees they can & cannot use just so they don't break the game. Dragons remain trivial nuisances at best. Cliffracer 2.0. Wonderful

I have never had any of these problems you listed. Dragons can be easy but the blood dragons are challenging one on one.

I think it's about how if you power level the smithing and alchemy trees you can make some really powerful stuff early with a little work. ie: craft a load of iron daggers or easy potions to build easy skill points

Except last time I checked, power levelling was a choice people were free to make and not a bug,

I hope they don't patch any power-level exploits, just because it should always be an option, if say... You lose a save with high levels that you obtained fairly, and you don't have the patience to do it again, just power level.

Invisible barriers? huh?

Someone who likes min/maxing and feels compelled to see numbers go higher instead of actually enjoying the game.

Why are people so focused on stats and numbers in a game like this :/

Have you ever played a game that doesn't have bugs? It's pretty much impossible to make any kind of software with more than 100k lines of code without bugs, so your expectations are clearly unrealistic. Deal with it.

Well doesn't Todd says in one of interview thats Skyrim will have more advanced patching system ant there will be more patches they will be smaller but more frequent?
Perhaps thats it, and Skyrim will have more official fixes thats Oblivion and Morrowind have before, and what still being fixed with various community patches.

Yes, I've seen bugs in almost every game I've played.

However, Skyrim has game breaking issues that will likely never be resolved. This is unacceptable.

Fixed issue where projectiles did not properly fade away

Fixed occasional mouse sensitivity issues (PC)

WOOT!

Dragon corpses now clean up properly

Fixed rare issue with dragons not properly giving souls after death

I've had four of these non-decomposing dragons that don't give up their souls. They were more of a curiosity than an annoyance for me, but then, I always have a surplus of souls. I was concerned that too many of them lying around might cause performance issues though, so it's probably for the best that they fixed it. The corpses seem to hang around even after the cell respawns.

Fixed rare issue where dragons would not attack

Is this referring to the ones that just fly around and never seem to notice me. I kind of like seeing those once in awhile.

Exactly. If I come off as a ungrateful jerk that isn't my intention. However, I have played Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 & if there is 1 thing Bethesda never follows through with it is addressing bugs in their games. To this day, all 3 of the titles I listed have game-breaking bugs/mechanics that have not been addressed. If the issues that plague Skyrim are not addressed now, they never will be because the company will have moved onto its next title which generates revenue.
