Patches should be optional!

Bethesda broke the game for console users, to take away consoles only way to farm resources from shop keepers made settlement building and freedom a chore and not entertainment.

They broke the game by not letting you exploit flaw in it? Interesting reasoning there. Probably be more accurate to say they broke the game for YOU. Which could be entirely true. But I'd wager most people aren't so hung up on cap and resource exploits

bethesda didn't list it in the things they fixed !

Why is that, don't they want people to know how many bugs and glitchies are in there glitched game !

Bethesda be upfront list the glitchies in ya game and put fixed or not !

Simple to do

I must have missed the glitch but here's the thing....

Settlements when developed really produce a whole lot of resources that the player can then exploit anyway, sure it takes a lot of time to get going IF your really into taking your time building and arranging them to look nice but from what I've seen a lot of people just toss stuff any ol way they can.

Anyway my point is I've built a lot of stuff and spent a lot of "game days" on it so I know for certain that resources will start to accumulate pretty fast when you get your 4rth/5th settlement fully developed.

They are optional...disconnect the Internet...wait for dlcs...in the meantime abuse the hell outta the exploits so you never have to worry about caps or materials...hook internet back up...download dlc and patches...enjoy life..

some kind of bug where you can get unlimited caps and junk. He's made a couple threads about it, and from what I can gather he pretty much wants unlimited resources so he doesn't have to scrounge for junk or ever worry about caps or ammo. He pretty much wants cheats but is playing on console so he can't. The last patch fixed the bugs he and others exploit, and he's quite upset about it.

Oh, and not passing judgement, its his game, he can play how he wants. But that's what all the hubbub is about

Something to consider, they may have 'fixed' the exploits because their testing discovered that somewhere down the line it can cause major problems in game.

That was the main speculation on the removal of the Ogmha Infinitium book exploit in Skyrim. That it may have caused issues with the Legendary update.

The only "exploit" I employ is the settlement size limit workaround (I dislike arbitrary limits on how much I can build).

Other than that, it's by the book. Water farms work just fine for generating caps.
