Patching Daggerfall : The Elder Scrolls Series Discussion

Now it's time to download the extra quests and the patch. Unpack the quests into DOSBox folder\Games\DAGGER\ARENA2 and move/copy the dag213.exe file to DOSBox folder\Games\DAGGER.

As it is now, some of the files in the ARENA2 folder are writeprotected, and the patch doesn't like that, so we have to change that. Go into DOSBox folder\Games\DAGGER\ARENA2 and select all files, choose properties and make sure that "Read-only" is not checked, and then press ok, and you will change the writeprotection on all files.

Now go back to DOSBox and type the following:
C:
CD..
RESCAN
DAG213

I did this and while I write "dag213" to DOSBox it says "Illegal command: dag213"

Like this:

C:\DAGGER>dag213
Illegal command: dag213.

What am I doing wrong? I did every step in the http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=479044&st=0&p=6877868&#entry6877868

Any solutions for this

1) Did you download dag213.exe from UESP?
2) Did you put it in the folder where you installed Daggerfall?

If you did those two things, you shouldn't have that problem.

1) Yes I downloaded dag213.exe from UESP
2) Hmm... the dag213.exe is in the DOSBox folder\Games\DAGGER is this the problem?

That shouldn't be the problem if that's the mounted C:\DAGGER (which it is the in guide). Just be sure it's in the same place as the mounted C:\DAGGER.
