Patching Help : IV

Hey guys, So as a long time Fan of Oblvion I take a look at the Mods see if anything new has come out and there has! So I went to install Oblivion again. Then I finished of all the DLC in knights of the nine the Update that came with it did not work says, Old File Not Found so I have had this before I went to Shivering Isle I got the update from the main The Elder Scrolls page got the right one. Then same thing came up Old File Not Found.

I have done evreything I could think off. Unistalled it Renstalled it in diffrent ways not installed Knights of the nine but Shivering Isle and the other way around and Not installed them both and still got the same thing all the time! I have given up and looking for help.

I also should say that Oblivion is a Clone, my other one broke there was a crack starting to come so I cloned it before I lost it and had to buy another. Same with Shivering Isle. I fear that this is the problem?

Anyone got any Ideas?

ALSO I have not got No-Cd thing on.

Which patch are you downloading? If you've install Shivering Isles, you need only the Shivering Isles patch. Ignore the one on the KOTN disc as well.

I am trying to install Patch 1.2.0416 I belive If I did not Install SI then Oblivion 1.2.0416 and if I installed SI then Sivering Isle 1.2.0416. No matter what I do it just will not work it keeps saying Old File Not Found.
I do not install any update just 1.2.0416 Well try too anyway.

I need to get OBSE working its will not wrok without the patch (hope OBSE is ok to talk about, its some kind of mod Oblivion Script Extender)

I am giong to keep killing NPC in NV while I wait for Reply =D

When you uninstall do you make sure to delete all the files found in program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Oblvion ?

Yup All of it and the stuff in Documents. It seems to me that there no way of doing it?

Anyone know what I should do? it seems doomed!

Ouch. Kinda the shotgun approach..... Do you have GOTY Edition? If so, installing the second disk updates you to the latest and greatest version, no need for any additional patches.
