AI Path Finding

I don't know if this has been mentioned or not yet, but by god it should be. The AI path finding in this game is offensively bad. Not just terrible, but downright broken. Settlers, companions, friendly NPCs and enemy NPCs (ie. ALL NPCS) are the dumbest AI characters I've ever seen in a computer game, and I've been playing computer games since DOS.

There's really no excuse for this, and I shouldn't have to beg bethesda to fix what should never have been this broken in the first place. But please, PLEASE fix AI pathfinding. I can handle the frequent FPS drops, the rare desktop crashes, the last-gen textures and the generally terrible PC UI, because the game story & world itself is epic and (usually) makes up for it. But the path finding.... if I have to deal with any more NPCs getting stuck behind a small tree or a car or a small ledge or watch my settlers bump around my carefully-crafted settlement like [censored] zombies for much longer then I think I'm gonna go mental. I paid $120AUD for this game to sit back and relax and get immersed in the Fallout universe, not to swear my head off at my screen and pull my god damned hair out!

Anyway with all that said, the game is awesome. But so many stupidly obvious mistakes let it down. That's unlike you bethesda! And I'm really disappointed with my experience of Fallout 4's gameplay so far. I stopped making settlements and I got rid of my beloved companion just so I could focus on the game without babysitting their walk path the whole damn way. And that's [censored]!

Peace & love,

Zenarchist.

No kidding,this pathetic.

I try assigning some NPC to be vendors and they don't even go to the stall to stand behind them, some do other don't.

I have settlers standing on top of the house roof too with no stairs to get up there and not to mention some NPC can't go to beds where I assign them.

It's pretty bad, which is odd because FO3 had fairly damn good pathing. I do love the NPCs I travel with but I tire of playing a game of 'Would you please get in the [censored] lift already?'.

They'll automatically teleport to lifts and elevators after you start them.
