How peculiar, I have an amazing computer, 12 gb of upper range DDR3 RAM, x2 Nvidia 1gb DDR5 GTS450s store super-clocked and then overclocked again by my own doing, with SLI enabled, wrapped together with a 3.36ghz i7 processor. With this grand setup(planning to get better Graphics Cards though), I averaged about say..... 70-80 FPS(I disable V-sync because if you look up what it does, with an LCD screen it's almost pointless, and it unlocks the FPS past 60) with all settings maxed(even Post-Processing, some of you may remember how embarrassing this was in Crysis and Crysis Warhead), in all patches before 1.9.
Myself yesterday:
"Oooh look, DX11 is finally out...with a texture pack, sweet. Oh, it needs patch 1.9? Ok."
*Updates patch and installs DX11 and texture pack and starts game*
"WOW! This looks PHENOMENAL! ....Wait. Why is my FPS at 20?"
*Disables DX11 and texture pack AND lowers all settings to rock bottom*
"Oh, how nice...45FPS."
._. This may need fixing Crytek...just maybe.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention. Sometimes, now with DX11, it flickers with SLI so much that I have to disable SLI, or be crashed to desktop. ._.
