Okay but most months have R in them so its not important cause it could be november or even december after its release. it just means almost nothing except being not june july august or may

They'll probably save the demo for e3. But a gameplay trailer or something should be coming soon i would guess.

hey I'm new here. But there is no way that would happen. PAX isn't a "big" event . It's for gamers to play unreleased games and is a good way for indie dev's to show their new stuff. There might be a small chance for GDC 11 but that's also unlikely bethesda likes to release things through the internet so watch for twitter post's,blog's, etc.. :)

Pete said that they will not be at gdc which begins on february 28th. He did say that they would be at pax east in mid march but NOT with skyrim.

So to sum that up...we're screwed right now.

They said during one of the GI articles that we should see gameplay soon-ish, or something like that, and that it would be in a month with an r in it. I would look at around the release of their next game(Brink in May I believe), which means it would either be in April or March. September is not soon-ish, unless you are going by Blizzard or Valve's standards.

My guess is sometime in March or April we will get an official theatrical trailer that will show some recent build in game footage and at E3 we will get a demo preview.

I'm worried about the official website right now. Skyrim was announced two months ago and still no sign of a website relaunch. It's time.

FO3 was the same way although it was announced much sooner. They are hard at work on the trailer and the site will be updated with it when they are done in 2 weeks/months.

Screw the update. I want the stuff that used to be on there back. Why isn't it on there? :(

Most of the stuff that was there can be found here--> http://www.gamesas.com/
The site will not return to normal until after launch.

As in game launch or site relaunch? Also, two weeks to two months is a pretty wide gap?

They won't be showing it at PAX East. If it were up to me I'd just have Gstaff put it up in a Blog Post, although this is the type of question that somebody should be asking Killmoms about since this is his area of department. :cookie: :cookie:

I'd give it a month or two and then we'll see the 1st game play video.

Pete is head of PR at Bethesda Softworks so his statement is miss direction at lest. I agree the main effort of Beth Soft will be directed at at Brink and Hunted. With the press coverage at GDC, my guess is a closed door demo press only.

I don't think Pete has ever mislead anybody about whether Bethesda Softworks (or Bethesda Game Studios) will be showing Skyrim at either GDC or PAX.
