Something which I think may be new info from playing at PAX - you can use the fire spell to set the environment on fire. From blades of grass to trees, burn burn burn.

If it has been released by gamesas then OK, if it is taken off screen at PAX, then no. :)

Not too sure about the lockpicking, really hope it is still a work in progress. I'd rather it zoomed into the lock on a wooden backdrop rather than appear centre screen showing your character and weapon.

It's straight out of Fallout. I like it; fun to play.

So I was looking PAX info thread #2 last night and read that you had seen other players find an enchanting altar along with an alchemy lab in the basemant of some NPC's house. Upon speculation of this, I wonder if when you obtain a house of your own, if adding these stations will be an option to decorate your home? Would be pretty sweet!

I also have 2 questions:

1) Upon looking at the armor/weapons in your inventory, what stats could you see on the items? I heard in some interviews with Todd and Pete that a lot of the stats would be hidden from the player, for sake of simplicity. Are we given DR, WG, and some random stats that go with it upon inspection of an armor? What about weapons?

2) When observing a player interacting with the alchemy lab or enchanting altar, were they able to create anything? My biggest worry is that we will just be given a load of recipes and enchants right off of the bat, giving the player no reason to search for rare "schematics" and such. I hope we are given nothing, and in order to even interact with alchemy or enchanting, we have to find plans/recipes via vendors or dungeon diving. But I digress...
