Paying respect.

So most of you should remember the law suit between big boy Bethesda and small child Black Isle studios yeah? Well I believe if Bethesda goes to make a new fallout game they should bring Black Isle on team. Yeah, the two studios haven't had the best of relationships but a Bethesda fallout could greatly use some of the original creators touch. Even then I believe Bethesda should also pay some respect the Black Isle and return the fallout online rights to Black Isle. After all, they created the fallout universe so Bethesda kinda owes them and plus. Bethesda makes MILLIONS the least they could do is help out the studio responsible for creating the wonderful universe of fallout. I mean c'mon all they wanted to do is continue the game they created in the top down style it started in and if Bethesda are to stuck up to let a barely surviving studio to continue their legacy then I don't think they should own fallout at all.

Bethesda already had Black Isle comeback to make a Fallout game in the form of Obsidian. Obsidian is made up of a lot of former Black Isle Studio people.

Also Bethesda didn't sue Black Isle. They sued Interplay under Herve Caen. And Black Isle didn't create Fallout. Interplay under Brian Fargo created Fallout. Black Isle worked on Fallout 2, cancelled Fallout 3 and when they became Obsidian they made New Vegas.

Interplay under Herve Caen shouldn't have sold the rights to Fallout if they wanted to continue Fallout.

They should pay Interplay's/Black Isle's child respect: Fallout.

Had I been at that studio, this would please me the most. As it would now.

I never said Bethesda sued Black Isle. I was talking about the law suit over project V13

I also state Black Isle as the initial creators of fallout to dumb it down for people who may not know a lot. most importantly we all knew interplay was going on some hard times which had them sell Their iP's and what not. I believe if the original fallout 3 wasn't canceled and the rights still belonged to the original owners we'd see a lot more of fallout but that's not my point. My point is that Bethesda should let the now re opened Black Isle studios to work on Project V13. I mean honestly. Bethesda makes a lot of money and they could easily support Black Isle with the project to get it released because not only would it give the original style of fallout a come back it could also be used for hype for the next 3D fallout game. IF they decide to use the rights they so willingly fought for to create another game instead of just letting it "collect" dust.

It would be nice to see Black Isle and Bethesda's logo on a brand new fallout game but it seems Bethesda doesn't like sharing the fame.

Fallout can be a delicate universe to mess around with. By adding new things and messing up the lore of the game could end badly.

Yes you did:

What you might not know is that the Interplay that created Fallout 3 was not the same Interplay that cancelled Fallout 3 and tried to make Project V13.

Interplay under Brian Fargo created Fallout, Fallout 2 and Tactics. Interplay that killed Fallout was under Herve Caen who created Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel and decided it was the future and thus cancelled Fallout 3.

Only when Bethesda bought the whole rights to Fallout after they originally bought the right to make three games and came out with the hit Fallout 3. Did Interplay try to make money on Fallout again after Herve Caen killed Fallout. They tried to make an online Fallout which they didn't have the rights to do that. Bethesda sued and Bethesda won.

Point is the Interplay that is around now deserves to respect. None at all.

But the good news is Obsidian now has Tim Cain working for them and I am sure are great friends with Brian Cain. So if you want Bethesda to pay more respect for the orginal creators of Fallout then Obsidian is the company to root for, I hope they get another shot at making a Fallout.
