I'm glad they put out some of the other screens that were in the GI mag as digital photos. No one has released the best screen yet, the one with the guy in the cave with the staff emanating light. I want that screen in hi res, I want to make it my background lol.

I wouldn't call those high resolution, but they're higher than I've seen them anywhere else. *Saved and enlarged + de-noised.*

Damn this game looks nice. Like I've said elsewhere, I understand other people having higher standards than mine, but for me, this will more than do lol.

And they still haven't released the one with the adventurer in the cave or the adventurer walking into town, looking at a lady leaning on a rail or the barbarian looking adventurer with light on his back as he is walking into another cave where you can see an zombie in the tunnel. Those that I listed are the best looking ones because they actually show how good the lighting is. All the other screens have a lack of lighting but still look good.

It's hair. Hair that is made of plastic. As in not even attempting to fall naturally. Hopefully it's not like that in the finished game...

If it's a hood his head must be absolutely tiny. I think its hair.

In the pic of the tabern, what the first plane woman has in the neck is a seamline?
EDIT: it looks that the transition happens lower int the neck than it was in Oblivion and is way smother also.

A fur hood would be great.

I hope so too. But not a gamebreaking issue.

Well with 3 confirmations of hair it must be so.

Yeah I thought hair would look better considering everything else that seems to have improved.

No way, the dragon on the perch with the moutains and forest in the backround is sooo good, fantastic distant land.

720p wasn't high resolution 5 years ago, it's not high resolution now.

They're high-res in comparison with the tiny images in magazines, or in magazine scans. Also, what did you expect? The Xbox 360 to suddenly be able to render at 1440p? There are very few (<1%) monitors in the world with a resolution as high as 1440p. Would you consider high-res 1080p? Not sure any (visually complex) Xbox 360 game has ever shipped running at that resolution. Simpler games, maybe.

Anyway, they're the highest res and fidelity they're going to be, until we see 1440p screenshots posted from PC gamers who've bought the game. There isn't any 16:9 game resolution higher, barring those silly multi-display technologies.

Real hair can act the same way. It could be tucked into his tunic, holding it in place so it doesn't fall.

The Xbox 360 has resolutions up to 1080i and the PS3 has up to 1080p.

@Phyoshi Actually, 720p is considered to be the lowest resolution to be able to be considered HD, so yes, 720p is high res, just not ideal.

No.... I think its his hair, its to narrow and the head would be so small and set to far forward from the shoulders if this was a hood. But could just be the way the animation has been captured as the character is moving.

I guess we'll not know untill 11.11.11, but the actual clothes look so cool on this character, and the fact we actualy have a strap for the quiver is good, instead of just 'superglued' to our backs in Oblivion :)
