For some time now PCs have been the the one to rule them all when talking about video gaming specially on the internet.
Consoles on the other hand has been around for a very short period but enough to make some PC user assume a defensive position.
personally i been playing video games for some time now and my taste have turn with time now because of the cost and complications involved in keeping a PC up to date for my video-games i have turn to the Consoles

My reasons:
Price or Costs.

Multiplayer; Easy, companies offer online services (check Sony or Microsoft). The Xbox, offers multiplayer game on Xbox Live, voice chat included.

Have you ever prepared a LAN party with a group of friend if you use PCs you know all work implied. Consoles are made for that you can have 3 friend on the couch shooting at you and each other or racing at high speed in no time.

i always look for simplicity PCs can turn into a technical nightmare if compared to consoles. think about all that could go wrong from the installation of the game to the game playing ending, drivers, memory, capacity, fast / enough storage, graphic card$, virus, mods that go wrong (i had a lot of those in my time) an update can ruin every thing in a minute.

You can go out buy a console and could be playing in minutes. Imagine no operating systems to configure no drivers to update, Imagine purchasing a game only to find out that it isn't compatible with your PC for some stupid reason.

Yes i miss the sensation when my graphics on the PC were the best on the block i was fast as a lighting bolt and the mods were from funny to exceptional improving whatever i was playing still it was expensive and if you look around and compare you will realize like i did that console gaming are getting better each minute and the difference between Console and PC overtime is getting smaller.




Most Console games are easy to learn (low learning curve) tutorials are fast and easy most of the time is the beginning of the game itself i remember reading long manuals for short games with my PC.

This usually is not good to talk about, turns into a console war

Versus platforms are a no no around here.

PC because:
- it's the only platform I own
- I love the mouse control
- I like to be in control of how I can maximize my machine's performance for a particular game (via upgrade and ini settings)
- some of the player made mods are really worth it

I see this ending well.

I prefer sitting on my bed with a controller.

For me it's the Pc because that's how I like to play. I've been playing on Pc since the 90's and the consoles and their features never convinced me that I should try one, let alone buy.

Who cares? Not I. Why are you defending consoles to the nth degree and seemingly bashing PCs? Let people choose what they want. Delete this thread.
