To peak or not to peak...

Ill have to wait another 7 days after Fallout 4 for the Star Wars Battlefront Darth Vader Limited Edition ps4 I ordered to arrive. However, I also bought the Fallout 4 Vault Dweller's Survival Guide Collector's Edition Official Strategy Guide so Ill study up a bit before I play the game.

The information will fit nicely for the Fan Fics I write for my self-insert; since Bethesda has apparently given us a military background, if not, Pre-War.

That said, I dont at all feel Im "cheating" myself out of anything because Fallout is an experience of it own. No preparations could ready you for the world after the bombs.. indeed as well, wouldnt a post-apocalyptic lone wanderer DESIRE tips, guides, and help? A little might keep you alive..

Jokes aside ( :] ) we are all gonna love what Bethesda has cookee up for us (hopefully)... I certainly will.

I buy the guide but stay away from any plot or missions.. But I immediately spoil myself with maps. I basically stick to the back of the book. As I explore the areas I read about what I'm exploring as I go. I especially like doing this since a lot of the times the guide has extra info about a place or people that isn't found anywhere in game. The weapon, equipment, mod tables also come in quite handy.

So such code exists.

If I get stuck on something, I'll look it up.

Can't think of many mountains near Boston, so I'm going to say there will be few peaks.

Agreed.

But I'm doing a Howard and Nora alternating first play through.

I want to see the differences between the male and female voiced protagonists.

So Howard as an Infantry NCO Vet who used the GI Bill to get a degree in computer Science and Nora as brilliant power armor engineer.

I'm sure they will go in different directions, but by switching back and forth, I think I will be able to really see the differences.

I will admit, I might send the more charismatic one in to social situations first.
