No big update, I've simply made a video of the library

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKSrhRQSEYM (I've upped the gamma for the video, the room is darker than that)

I like the spinning globe. Also, it appears that unlike other library sorters I've seen, yours doesn't create a copy to store on the shelves, but puts the originals there. If I understand correctly.

The globe is http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=3594, I split the mesh so that one part could be given a script and rotate.
The book sorter is Nicholiathan's (see his http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=5474 mod), who's allowed me to use it as long as I renamed everything. The books on the shelves are activators rather than simple dummy books, so the illusion is pretty perfect. Also, unlike other book sorters that I have seen, no copy is ever made of the books you bring, so unique books remain unique. (I am considering adding a quest to retrieve those unique books you have to give away to complete quests, yet another idea on the list)

The house is very nearly built, on the to do list:

** Reception hall/Ballroom (again, not too happy with the names...help?) features:
2 states: party on and party off. When the party is on (after writing invitations), dishes and food are on the tables, guests are present as well as musicians, when the party is off, dishes are back on the shelves, guests are gones and only the instruments remain.
** Servants's quarters:
3 small bedrooms (small by comparison with the other bedrooms that is) for the staff
**Attic:
which will remain empty for you to play with ( the house is huge, the attic will take time to furnish I think)
**Nursery
Ah, I'm not sure about this one as it will be part of the COM addon that will have the said nursery a well as a new resident and staff member: the page. I am tempted to leave this room empty until the addon is made. So anyone who really wanted a nursery right away?

That's it for now!

Sounds great! The activator is much better than the dummy books, in my opinion. The latter can cause some real headaches if you accidentally take a book instead of just putting it back on the shelf--as I can attest.

Glad to see this is working out nicely. :)

A book sorter is always a good feature for a house mod,
and decorating the attic sounds like it might be a fun little side project. ^_^

I suppose it would be best to wait for the COM addon to add the nursery.

If you have already put the basic cell together, but haven't decorated it,
just remove the door leading to the cell from the house, to "dummy it out".

This will let you leave the unfinished cell in for now, but make it unaccessible to the player.

To save you the trouble of setting the door up again from scratch, you could just move the door
back behind the wall, where it can't be seen.

When you have finished the nursery, just slide the door back into place.
(Either way is fine, but if you just hide the door, you won't have to deal with competely replacing it,
and fussing with the doormarker.)

Soireetium? :P

Will you be using Arcimaestro Anteres' animations for the musicians or for any people sitting and eating?

This is turning into the be-all end-all residence mod. I especially like the fact you're creating such extensive configuration possibilities, Danae!

I think so too and as an added bonus (well for me at least) the books will have the Book jackets.

All right, so no nursery just yet :) I'll just move the door behind the wall.

That's the plan, yes. I originally planned to use my hold it item collection but the animations will be way better. Thank you :) I can only hope I will succeed in making the mod I envisioned!

I didn't do much today as the part I hate the most approaches: tidy, correct details, clean, pack... everytime I run through the house I seem to find at least a dozen thinks to correct! You gotta love modding!

Looks like you've come upon what I think is the hardest part, but also the most rewarding. ;)

It's all downhill from here! After this, it can only get easier, and getting there is half the fun! ^_^

Holy monkey sauce, I never knew you had so many videos! Chests I can actually stuff with things and auto-shelving book, weapon and clothing displays? I've seen a lot of mods in my days but this one will be one I will never play without. It's genius, it's got lots of space to accommodate my hoarding needs, it's pretty and it looks very well pieced together. Anyone who can do that with the CS, my hat is off to, especially considering how much scripting must've gone into those sorters to get stuff to pop up where it's supposed to.

You da man, Danae.

Thank you! The heavy scripting (sorters) is not from me though, I can handle the light scripting like make things appear, move, cast spells and pop a message box.
I'm quite happy with my containers but the animated chests are from Phaedrus.
Wriiting the read me will take forever, msotly because of the credits section actually :)
Anyway, thank you for your encouragements, the house only should be released soon(ish, got a lot of rl work piled up for me)
Oh, I'm da girl ;)

Time for a new update!

== I've made the bedrooms for the staff. There are 4 of them, each with 6 beds. They all have the same furniture but with different textures and arrangement.
Here are some screens: http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu289/Danae123123/WIP%20Pegasus%20Estate/Staffroom2.jpg http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu289/Danae123123/WIP%20Pegasus%20Estate/Staffroom3.jpg http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu289/Danae123123/WIP%20Pegasus%20Estate/Staffroom1.jpg http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu289/Danae123123/WIP%20Pegasus%20Estate/staffroom5.jpg http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu289/Danae123123/WIP%20Pegasus%20Estate/Staffroom4.jpg
And one video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzq8yan4Vr8

==
Work has been done on the vestibule. It's basically the corridor of all 3 floors, so most of the room are accessible from there. Points of interest: Feyiin's book that outlines the future plans for the Estate. Upon completing all the rooms in the quested version of the house, you'll get a new book and a surprise (Thank you Gaius for yet another great idea) Right now, since the house comes fully built, well no surprise.
Special shelves for awards: you'll get those upon reaching different levels, ranks and reputation. The quested version of the house will have special Pegasus awards.
Screens of the ground floor vestibule http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu289/Danae123123/WIP%20Pegasus%20Estate/vestibule2.jpg http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu289/Danae123123/WIP%20Pegasus%20Estate/Vestibule1.jpg
And a http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-PXGPPjSoQ of the 1st floor vestibule, nothing fancy really, it's a corridor

== Added a couple (2 really) of tiny features to the loo and made a video to celebrate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qF0KOFgeTOM

== I almost forgot about the forge! It will be outside the house, will have storage for your MC material and some of the tools.

== After that, I still need to finish the Great Hall and its scripts.

Then tidy it all
Then pack
Then deliver the BETA of the house!

== I will be updating the OP with new vids and screens, for now, if you want to see more of the Estate here are links to the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Js7qumYZkjw&feature=PlayList&p=AD176B9E066FB72F&index=0&playnext=1 and the http://s656.photobucket.com/albums/uu289/Danae123123/WIP%20Pegasus%20Estate/

I play in a rather autistic manner, so every house is endlessly entertaining!

Glad you like what has been done so far :) You question is a tricky one because I'm not sure what playing in an autistic manner is and I don't know how that makes every house entertaining. I'm guessing that gathering a lot of people in your house and interacting with all of them is not part of it though, so I won't mention the staff.
If playing in an autistic way includes keeping every item you find and neatly storing/displaying them, then I guess my house is entertaining too! There are a couple of 'display as you store' features: place the clothes, weapons and bottles in a container and they appear, properly displayed (see the Lady's room, the Mess Hall and the Display hall videos). Then there are the labelled containers that contain when they look like: food items, clothes and books. (see the closet in the Almalexia room for example and the pantry in the Mess Hall.
If playing in an autistic manner means you rely on yourself only, using NOM and MC, then you'll be entertain in this house too since it has most of the tools for all these crafts. Most facilities are there, like ingredient sorter and desorter, book sorter, some fun scripts to take a bath, have a cup of tea, flush the toilet, set the table for dinner, an endless supplies of enemies to kill in the duelling pit, trophies and awards to collect..., that may be about it...
Finally, autistic or not, I hope you'll find eye candy all over the house!

You have done a lot since the last time I visited here. When I see your video for 1st floor vestibule I was stunned, I've never seen the kind of artwork you have made for this corridor.

Thank you! Did you mean the paintings? There are various views of the Estate. I use them here and there in the house in addition to the POTD paintings I made a while ago.
That reminds me, I'm planning an update for my POTD mod since I know my way around PS much better now. The painting will be given a more artistic feel, like those of the estate I made. That means the picture won't be so sharp but it will look like a painting!

Fun fact: so far, of the last 3 videos I have uploaded, the vestibule, the bedroom and the loo, the loo has had more views :)

That's is for now, feel free to leave your comments and suggestions!

Yes, I mean the paintings which has a exellent unique harmonic feeling along with the other rooms. I've also an idea about the summoning room, did you plan to add some features there for the player ?

Yes, the summoning room is scripted: as long as you are inside, you have a blood summoning spell. It always works but drain your hp. The creature summoned and the hp drain is based on your level. You lose the spell as soon as you step out of the room.
What was you idea?

Well my first fought was that the player could have options, to use the summoned creature, daedric and undead in different ways.

1. Just to soultrap it if is needed
2. Have it as sparring partner with different fighting style (train hand to hand, shield blocking etc, as normally you can't do in the vanilla except to fight)
3. Let it follow you and aid you in the battle of your enemies until their are dead
4. Put up a duel so the player can collect the stuff from the corpse if you do that within the limit time of course

These features would have some scripts, but different to each other and for the player should also be equal script for that selected option. For the last one the player could have an unique weapon added to inventory, which is removed when script ends or leaving the room.

Of your 4 options, 1 and 2 are already there. I'll leave my script as it is, truth being said it took all the (meagre) scripting skills I have to write this one, but I was wondering what new service the Spellweaver from the Staff Agency should have. So far, the Spellweaver is a companion who will also fill soul gems for you (once a day, depending on the soul gem and your level), his new service could be to summon a creature that would then give options 3 and 4. I like the idea that the summon creature will have a low chance of having a somewhat unique item to loot. Added to the to-do list!

It should be the same looting stuff you may find in the vanilla game, for instance a daedric tower shield / ebony broadsword or a glass claymore (maybe enchanted).

There is a training area with working dummies.
After you complete a short series of trials, you'll have also access to the thieves' lair that has doors for you to practice on and a short quest to poison throwing weapons.
You'll also have access to the duelling pit: every time you enter it, a mage, warrior or thief type npc of your level will be waiting for you. You opponents are equipped according to their level but you won't be able to loot any of it. Instead, you get a trophy (there are 5 different kinds to collect)
The bulkier content of the mod is:
* Quests to get the house
* Quests to hire employees
* Quests to improve your employees services
* Quests to build new rooms or get new features in the house
