(OOC: Hey all, I've been let in as an extra character of the sort, my sheet is up with all the others if your interested)

For the most part it had been a peaceful walk, Kai, at ease with himself and any responsibility he had was pushed to the back of his mind. It was getting darker, and the snow was coming down harder, a storm was brewing and the small flakes battered into the side of his covered face, twisting and turning with the flustering winds. Blood was in the air, he could smell it and wanted some for himself, he too could hear the sounds of battle and as he pressed on up the side of a large, snow covered hill he could see it. Suddenly a large bang shot from a mage, a giant wave of fire coming from in the centre of the battle, it took Kai by surprise, but it didn't put his mind from its target.

The great city walls overrun with chaos, blood and terror. He picked up a jog, it was hard, the soft snow resisting against his already tired legs, wanting to find out why they were fighting, but more just to join in. As he drew nearer he licked his cold lips in a sadistic manner, flicking the blade from his crimson gauntlet and picking up speed to enter the mayhem.

He spotted Xerca as he neared the battle, a well known captain at the stronghold but he was unaquainted with Kai. He appeared to be fighting off the seemed 'enemy' as well as some of the other 'comrades' of Xerca. As he got nearer he picked up his pace, soon flying through the snow at a remarkable speed, heading straight for a targeted oaf. A Nord stood a few last feet from Kai; axe perched on his shoulder with an elderly victim lying at his feet. He wore a thick fur hide, so he can't have been a soldier, he must have been a citizen.

Kai leapt, it seemed like a lifetime that he hung in the air, the wind blowing at him from the side and the grim look in the Nords eyes boring into him as the Nord stared at death itself, a ray of sunlight flashed through the clouds of thick snow, glinting for a second upon the shiny surface of the polished steel blade. As he brought the blade down into the thick skin of the Nords neck the sun ray too went deep beneath the clouds, bones and bristle snapped and creaked as Kai pushed harder on the steel wristblade, pushing ever deeper, before finally twisting it and finishing the Nord completely.

He dropped, falling with a thud into the soft snow, spraying the loose white substance up around his body, blood staining the pure surface with its dark and eerie colour. Kai turned, the battle still raged on around him, though many men lay on the ground. Blood now stained his fresh robes and caked his wristblade, he hastened to clear the blood from his hair, flicking the fringe back from his eyes and scanning the area.

The flame spell engulfed Xerca and he felt his armour get hot and his padding catch alight, he swore loudly and jumped into the snow, trying to put out the flames, What idiot would do such a thing?!he thought angrily as he stood back up, his armour charred and his hair somewhat singed. He could feel his body was slightly burnt, it wasn't anything major and most wasn't from the fire spell, instead, he had been burnt when his armour had caught fire.

He painfully picked up his sword and went to block an axe but his arm was too weak and the axe broke through his defense, hitting him squarly on his chest plate, Xerca cringed in pain and plunged his sword deep into the man's chest, the barbarian fell back fingering the wound as he fell down dead.

Xerca was somewhat relieved to see his men were helping him, it was probably a lapse of judgement on their part. He struggled to get up, his bruised and battered body were aching terribly from the long and ardous fight. His spirits were beginning to rise and he would've thought the battle won had it not been for the redguards body falling limp to the ground, a legionnaires sword deep into his belly.

----

A horn blew loudly from within the city, it emminated from a legionnaire who was not amongst the cursed, with him, a score of 24 soldiers rushed out of the city to help Xerca's unit. Their swords were bloody and a few were injured, but their spirits were high and they were fresh soldiers and they swiftly cut through the diminishing enemy.

ooc: So, the battle outside the city is nearly over; 20ish more enemies to kill before we have to liberate the city.

The battle took a turn for the worse when Xerca was injured, and Sulla heard a voice telling him to try and run away to save his own life. "No, I can't do that." he thought as he slashed across another madman's chest, "I'm not that bad of a person yet. And that would ruin any chance of a promotion."

Sulla ran over to his captain and tried to lift him up. "Sir I know you are my superior, but I can not give you permission to die yet." he said as he pulled the captain away. Sulla noticed the captain seemed to be staring at something, but it wasn't the time or place to care. He dropped Xerca for a second to deal with a former legionnaire, but tried to keep his captain safe. "You better be worth saving Xerca!" he thought as he engaged the former legionnaire in battle.

The madman swung his sword at Sulla, but it was sloppy and the Fox-Lion was swift enough to dodge it. With a strike at his opponent's neck Sulla hoped to finish the fight, but the madman was able to deflect the sword with his own and deal Sulla a painful blow to the face with his gauntlet. As Sulla fell to the ground and braced for the feeling of a cold blade in his stomach, the horn blew and the surviving legionnaires rallyed out to retake the fort. With his opponent distracted by the horn, Sulla picked up his sword and forced it into his opponent's side, letting out a battle cry as he did so. The madman fell to the ground and died as Sulla rose and felt rejuvinated by the blowing horn of his comrades.

"Let's go sir!" he exclaimed, "We have a battle to win!"

Xerca was brought back into reality by a fellow legoinnaire, The Fox-Lion he thought to himself, he'd always thought the man was a coward, he'd never figure he'd save Xerca. With grim determination, Xerca ripped off his helm and stood up gripping his bloody blade, "And win we will matey!" He cried out as he shoved his helmet into the head of one of his enemies, using the distraction to slice the man's stomach, ripping it out at an angle so that it sliced at his internal organs. The enemy gurgled and Xerca was already moving onto the next, a new found sense of dertermination helped him forget his wounds and his fatigue.

His hair flew wildly as he used his knee, elbow, sword and fist to fight the enemy, his eyes glaring with some sort of wild frenzy. He almost forgot who he was attacking and had a friendly come to stand infront of him, they would have probably met a swift and painful end.

Kai too continued fighting, not knowing who really he was meant to be fighting. An older Redguard ran at him from the crowds, body scarred from the fire blast, his clothes ripped and shredded. He was frail and as he approached Kai, he was tossed aside by a swift side kick. Kai's fist soon followed swiftly down into his face, rapid punches flew one after the other into the savage mans nose, blood spraying from the disfigured face onto Kai, who smiled with delight at the mess he had made. There was something strange about this man, his eyes, his mannerisms, the way he snarled as Kai only pursued to hit him harder before finally letting rip his steel blade, shooting once more from his gauntlet and near destroying what was left of the mans shattered face.

"Thank you, I enjoyed that." Kai smirked patting the remainder of the man's cheek as he hauled his own body from the Redguard and scouted for the next enemy.

Another Redguard, this time younger and with a lighter skin tone. Kai approached slowly waiting for the opponent to make the first move, he did. Flying at Kai, teeth bared and eyes focused upon his face. Kai smiled once again, he must have been out of his mind to attack Kai with the splinters of the last mans blood flickered across Kai's face and body. Kai stood his ground, turning his body to unleash a fatal blow to the head as he and the Redguard collided, Kai's boot meeting the temple of the cursed Redguard. Slamming him to the floor and lifting all life from his body.

"Pfft, a waste of my time" Kai turned his back on the easy fight, walking off once again, this time in the direction of the city gates, it seemed as though the enemy were the cursed men and women, they all seemed to be under a spell. Considering that there were few left, and the need of a nice wash Kai left the scene heading for the city.

Aerin had stayed up on the wall when more men from within the city came out to help the small group of legionaries. Her arrows flew from the top of the wall and down upon the crazed men that were attacking, each one never missing its mark. But soon her arrow supply began to diminish, but just in time for the battle to nearly be over.

As the last arrow came out of her quiver, she looked down upon the battlefield and sighed. It was a bloody mess down there and the captain was down to the last few men. She didn't want to kill any of the men, but the rest of the squad apparently didn't care. It is only a spell they are under.. they can't control what they do.. She thought to herself as her emerald eyes watched the battle continue. As she did so, she returned to the ladder and headed back down, her armoured feet hitting the snow with a soft thud.

Slinging her bow back on her back, she unsheathed her short sword and moved towards the rest of the group. Answers needed to be given. She saw a man in crimson run up and kill a Redguard with his fists before heading back towards the city. This made Aerin turn around and raise an eyebrow beneath her helmet.

"Hey where are you going!" She called out to him as she turned, seeing that Xerca and the others really didn't need much more help now.

Kai stopped hearing the woman call too him, however he proceeded to reply without turning his head to look at her, "to have myself a nice hot bath, care to join me?" he asked sarcastically making a mockery of her gender in such an unheard of location. Smiling to himself he continued onwards, before finally realising that from this woman he could gather some information. Still smiling he stared at the woman, his cold steel eyes boring into her before he spoke.

"Why were they fighting, they seemed strange, can you inform me of what was happening?"

A large collection of questions were rapidly fired at the woman. "And what is your name?" He took a couple of paces towards her, wiping the specks of blood from his face with his sleeve, and spitting more blood violently to the powdery snow.

ooc: That's fine, my guy's happy just to chill on the floor while a Nord tries to kill him :(

ic: Gwinas thought that the battle was nearing it's end. On the floor, burnt and winded, he looked around and saw most of the maddened either dead or unconscious. He saw the captain survive through another couple of wounds, momentarily wondering if the man even felt pain.

It was then that one of the last crazed men came on top of him, diving on him and grabbing him by the throat. He seemed to already be wounded, but that didn't stop him from slamming Gwinas's head into the floor once, then again, and again. He grabbed the Nord's arms before he could do it again, and wrestled with him while being completely and utterly dazed. Black spots clouded his vision, and the feeling of passing out had never come quite so severe for him.

One of his hands lost grip of the Nord, and a thunderous punch once again knocked him from his senses as he remained pinned on the floor. Every inch of him was in agony, from his scorched back to his now swollen and cut face, and the back of his head where a particularly nasty cut simply poured blood. In his panicked state, Gwinas could do little more than weakly shout, "Help" in a hoarse and desperate cry.

Oh! sorry Raven i didn't even notice..

Aein glared at the man as he said asked her about joining him for a bath. He's worse than the legionnaires! she thought as she gripped her short-sword tighter as he asked her questions. But as he did so she heard a faint and recognisable "help" coming from a short distance away from her. She turned and saw a Nord punching the Bosmer Legionnaire.

"I don't have time for this right now, so if you want answers you can help me get this Nord off my squad member, as apparently women can't be soldiers" She said, and saying the last part sourly before turning and running in the Nord's direction. Along the way she grabbed an arrow from one of the dead bodies and stopped, dropping her sword and un-slinging her bow again, putting the arrow on and then firing at the Nord about to delivered the final blow to the bosmer. The arrow hit its mark right between the Nord's eyes.

"And no i don't think i want to join a man who has no respect for me" She said again after the arrow hit.

The Nord's grip on the small man weakened and he fell backwards, the arrow embedded deep into his skull. "Gwinas!" She called out as she picked up her short-sword and ran up to the man. "Are you alright?"

With his almost last bit of strength, Gwinas pushed the now dead Nord from on top of him and rolled him off to the floor. Laying on the floor, he looked up to the sky and let his arms spread out across the ground. His eyelids flicked close for a second before he forced them open again. The faint voice of a woman shouted not far from him, 'Are you alright?' and he smiled.

Hawk lady. He thought childishly, silly name.

He looked over at her with swollen eyes, blood blocking his vision slightly.

"I need a healer." He told her as loud as he could right now - which admittedly was only enough for her to barely hear him, even though she had ran up to him. He tried to pull himself up, but fell back to the floor as a bout of dizziness overcame him. "My head hurts." He said quietly to no one in particular. "It hurts so much."

Blake couldn't tell Friend from Foe from the view on the walls. He was too high up, and it made everyone below look the same. He barely made out several hulking figures resembling Nords, a small group of them seemed to be traveling in small triangular formation. Blake withdrew an arrow from the Quiver, and took careful aim. The Nords were moving at quite a fast pace. Once he got a good shot, Blake released the bow-string, the arrow seeming to vanish from the bow, as the string shot forward. The First Nord in the formation, pitched forward into the ground suddenly as the arrow punctured into his chest. Blake laughed to himself in delight, and prepped another arrow.

He didn't seem to notice the scout darting past him, and back down the ladder. The Argonian took aim once more, but to his surprise, the Other Nords seemed to have disappeared from view. He lowered his bow slightly and looked around. Still not being able to tell the difference from Maddened and sane, Blake thought of returning down the ladder.

His only warning of an attack, was a loud, almost inhuman, grunt behind him. His training kicked in instantly and he dove to his side. Missing the blunt end of a warhammer by mere inches. Blake turned around to see his attacker, one of the Nords whom managed to escape Blake's view. The Nord was dressed in a assortment of Fur, and chainmail, and carried a mean looking warhammer. He yelled loudly and charged towards Blake. How the hell did he get up here so fast? He thought as he ducked down, evading the warhammer by centimeters this time, then quickly sprouted up, and without thinking, lunged his fist out and punched the Nord right in the face. The Nord didn't even seemed phased at the blow, and growled deeply. The Barbarian then shot his hand out and caught Blake in the throat, and with brute-like strength, and slammed him into the ground.

The movement came so fast, that Blake had no time to react. He was pinned to the ground, literally being choked to death. He squirmed slightly, and began trying to hit the Nord in the shoulder in the chest. The Nord had enough of the ill-fated punches, and slammed his knee into Blakes chest. Blake attempted to yell, but the Nords hand clasped around his throat, silencing any sort of sound trying to escape his lips. The strain of the Nords knee on Blakes chest, caused something to crack within his chest. He didn't feel anything, all his strength was sapped out of his body. He stopped struggling, as his vision started to become black.

Jerod no one is up there on the wall, but guess ill come and save you as well, since otherwise you will be out of the rp getting strangled to death by a Nord :P

Seeing that Gwinas was in bad shape, Aerin took out a healing potion, and uncorked the top. "Here.. this should at least help you get up on your feet for a while, at least until we can get you a healer.." She said quietly as she turned and looked up on the wall. The Argonian was there beforehand, and now wasn't, in his stead was a Nord hunched over.

"Oh by the Nine! I take my eyes away for one second.." She muttered and stood up again turning to the crimsoned Imperial. "Take care of him for me would you? I haven't got time to answer anything right now, while my own men are getting themselves in tight spots.." Aerin continued before standing up and leaving a few potions behind her, and retrieving some of her arrows.

After looking back again briefly to make sure Gwinas was drinking the potion, the imperial woman broke into a run and grabbed the sides of the ladder, forcing herself up as fast as she could. After all this is over, i'd better get some recognition for saving all their arses.. she thought bitterly as she reached the top and saw what she feared.

The Nord seemed to have had the Argonian in a death grip, and Aerin knew that if she didn't finish him off quickly, Black-Eye would be dead. Taking a bloodied arrow, she aimed and fired at the Nord, hitting him in the neck. The Nord roared in agony and let go of Blake his hand immediately going for the arrow. As he turned to try and get the arrow out, another one met his skull, the eyes moving up to see where it hit before he fell back, rolling off the Argonian, dead.

"You are going to owe me a drink for that one" Aerin muttered as she extended a hand to the Argonian. She was panting heavily from using up so much of her stamina running between places saving her squad members, and knew that she would be unable to do much more 'saving'.

oh.. must have read wrong earlier Willian 3, but at least now you can save Raven's character :P

OOC: I was up there but, whatever

IC: Alberon was firing light paralyze spell from up on the wall when he realised that the Argonian was being strangled, just before he cast the spell an arrow came out of nowhere and struck the Nord in the neck.

Alberon quickly rushed to the gasping Argonian and gave him a healing potion to quickly allow him to start fighting again.

Damn that woman is impressive!
Nothing on Hilde.
Obviously.
Wait is the Bosmer still moving?
Dammit! why did I jump up here?
Alright slowfall spells.....

Alberon threw a restore fatigue potion at "Hawk" then proceded to jump off of the wall, only saving himself from crippling leg injuries by his knowledge of Alteration. Once he had landed Alberon ran to the injured Bormer, and a strangely garbed Imperial, 'What happened to him?' queried the mage preparing his field medic kit.

ooc: Why do I like having my characters suffer? I think I have issues ><

IC: As Blake's world began growing ever darker, he mustered as much left over strength as he possibly could. And in hopes of an escape, he shot his knee upward, directly into the Nords groin. At first, he thought it wouldn't work, then the Nord suddenly buckled violently, letting go of Blake's throat. Instead of breathing, he began coughing loudly. The Nord fell off of Blake, over beside him, seemingly dead. And soon Blake would join him, if he didn't start breathing. The coughs hammered in his chest, causing an immense amount of pain, he forced himself to stop coughing, and do the opposite. At last he took large gasp of air. The oxygen rushing to his lungs, and to the rest of his body. His vision very slowly returned, and he slowly began looking around. Standing over him was the Scout, "You are going to owe me a drink for that one" she said.

Blake attempted to reply, but literally didn't have the strength to. Thats when he noticed a figure kneeling down beside him, holding some sort of vial. He put the vial to Blake's mouth and tipped the bottle upward, feeding him like a baby. When the man emptied the bottle, he stood up, and Blake got a good look at him. It was the Altmer that he had bumped into earlier....again, at that, the Altmer turned his attention back to the ladder, and left the wall. What ever was in the bottle, it made Blake feel a lot better. His vision had fully returned, as well as his strength. He sat himself up, and placed a hand on his chest, The pain was now hitting him. The Nord broke one or more of Blake's ribs, and it wouldn't have been a good idea to move around with loose broken bones.

He used a moderate Restoration Spell on his chest, and immediately, the pain vanished. He carefully, then stood himself up and looked at the Scout. ''We get out of this, I'll buy you a whole Keg...'' He said, smirking clumsily, and attempting to keep himself from falling over. He looked around for his bow, but didn't seem to spot it. Captains gonna kill me..., he sighed lowly. He checked the sheath on the side of his leg, his shortsword was still holstered in it. He looked back at the Scout. ''Where to?''

ooc: I feel kinda tired :/

Aerin caught the vial in her hand as the Breton threw it, and uncorked the potion, taking a swig, and felt her energy returning slowly. After helping black-eye up, she looked back down at the scene below back at the wood-elf where the man was already fixing the Legionnaire up.

When Blake mentioned buying her a keg, she laughed a little. "Just look out next time, these people don't seem to stop for anything that's for damned sure" With that she walked towards the ladder. "Where to? back down on ground level. We need to get to the captain and find out what in Oblivion is going on here"

With that Aerin grabbed the sides of the ladder, and slid down hitting the ground with a thud again, cringing from the slight pain of going down too fast. The battle was pretty much over with a few stragglers amongst the dead, and the dead were many.

"Why.. Why would someone want to make all these innocent people into killing machines?" She asked outloud to no one in particular as she walked back to where the Imperial in crimson, the Breton and the Wood-Elf were.

wow.. to mess it up three times..

ooc: So, just to let y'all know, the battle for the outside of the city is over. They're all dead, now we've gotta clear the inside!

ic:

Xerca instantly felt strange after his blood lust had died down, he stumbled for a few moments; trying to regain his balance, his legs were sore and his body was drained of all energy. After what seemed like a few minutes, he clumsily dropped his sword and fell to the ground unconscious, the long march and the constant fighting had taken a huge strain on both his mind and body.

Kai ignored the Breton, watching instead the lively scout as she scrambled around helping her friends. Kai had watched the action on the wall from his place on the ground, the caring little for what happened but interested instead in how it happened. There was little blood and before long the woman was back down the ladder with a thud. The whole group seemed tired, and as he scanned the area he noticed the leader fall to the ground, Kai noted that with no enemies left present it could only have been fatigue to bring him down. Kai, wiping his bloodied face with his gauntlet to remove the blood left on his face; left the city gate he approached Xerca, the leader of the small troop.

He was unconscious, his tired face laying face down in the snow. Cuts and bruises lay charred in his body along with the scarce remains of the large fire spell. Kai bent down patting the captain rather harshly on his cheek before calling his name.

Gwinas downed the healing potion quickly, immediately feeling the effects. While it did not entirely heal his injuries, the drowsiness ceased, and his vision returned completely to normal. His head -while feeling slightly better- still pounded heavily though, as if a hammer was smashing upon his skull repeatedly. He sat up and leaned on a nearby boulder, but remained on the floor.

'What happened to him?' The voice came from a new person, not the Hawk lady. Gwinas thought about the question, then felt suddenly ashamed like a child doing something wrong.

"One of them..." He said quietly, trailing off. "Got me from behind, and he hit me hard again and again." His speech was simple, and the Nord who attacked him did more than that, but the people in this legion knew of his intelligence. His speech would have become normal knowledge to them. Suddenly, Gwinas punched himself softly on his leg with the base of his fist. "Stupid." He told himself. "Should've heard him."

The healing potion had eased the pain and cleared the dizziness, but Gwinas was still bleeding quite heavily from the back of his head. The cuts and bruises on his face were painful, but nothing serious. Gwinas, although not clever, knew this, he pointed at the injury on his head, "This needs heal." He said plainly, trying his best to not grimace through the pain.

As Aerin returned to Gwinas and the Breton, she saw the Imperial in crimson go up to Xerca and slapped the unconscious man in the face. She cringed as he did so, knowing that if the Captain woke up and saw the Imperial do that, he will be probably in a tight spot.

Clutching the remained of the restore fatigue potion in her hand she walked up to the captain and the crimson clad Imperial. Moving his hand out of the way, the scout then went ahead and moved the Captain's head up a little and to the side, before opening the man's mouth gently and poured the remainder of the potion down his throat.

"The name's Aerin, if you must know, though most call me Hawk for a few reasons." She said as she waited to see if the captain would recover from the potion or cough the liquid back up.

Alberon smiled at the Wood elf's terrible cyrodillic 'All right just stay still, I don't want to have to waste anymore magicka than I have to.'
With that the mage put his hand over the wound, a faint blue light streaked from the gaps in his skilled healing hands, as Alberon removed his hand, all that remained was a blotchy scar.

Alberon grinned as the Bosmer regained consciousness 'ahh good, head wounds are always tricky, here' as he rumaged through his bag for a potion 'this should make the pain less intense, if it's bad now.'

Alberon's focus was drawn away from the Bosmer and towards the unconscious Captain, and the insolent Imperial slapping his face.

Guhh, Captain Xerca's gonna be angry.
What's with the Imperial anyway? strange clothes, strnger demeanour.
Probably an assassin, should keep my guard up.
Really? I keep my guard up around everyone exept for Hilde and Fawkes.
Well Fawkes is a parrot so does he really count?
He's smarter than most of the people in the squad.
That's not saying alot.

ooc: Sorry for the lack of posting peeps, i've been having and still am some pretty bad toothache, they've finally put me on some anti-biotics so it's getting sorted.

ic: Xerca woke up slowly, his mouth tasted like a potion and he shuddered at the taste. He opened his eyes to see the face of Hawk. His eyes widened in alarm and he quickly came to attention and looked around him, he sighed in relative relief when he had noticed they were safe. "Thanks Hawk, I appreciate it." he stated as he scratched his cheek.

He still felt pretty strained from the fighting but he stood up and moved his sore body towards the fallen redguard officer. "Help me lift him lads, we'll dig him a grave like he deserves." He added, "Oh, and keep an eyeout on the City, if anyone comes out and looks like they're one of these bastards, kill them."

Blake stuck behind the scout as they vacated the wall. He followed suit as she slid down the ladder, when he hit the bottom he nearly fell over, but steadily caught himself. He stopped for moment to stretch the sore muscles in his shoulders and legs. Blake then looked over, and spotted several Legionnaires, including the Scout, surrounding something on the ground. He got his bearings and ran over to them with a slight limp.

He gritted his teeth when he saw Captain Xerca on the ground. For a moment, Blake thought he had been slain, until an Imperial knelt down beside him and began slapping his face. Blake winced and took half a step back, then the scout moved forward, and knelt down next to the Captain. She pulled out a small vial, and poured its remains down the Dunmer's mouth. Blake bit his bottom lip, then realized, he was actually hoping Xerca would wake up, after all the harsh words Blake had gone through because of him.

When the Captain finally awoke, Blake sighed in both relief and disappointment. "Thanks Hawk, I appreciate it" Xerca said, and stood up and moved over to a corpse on the ground, "Help me lift him lads, we'll dig him a grave like he deserves." He added, "Oh, and keep an eyeout on the City, if anyone comes out and looks like they're one of these bastards, kill them." Blake nodded and looked away, towards the City, I suppose I'll do that..., he then looked around at the other Corpses. I'll need a bow....maybe one of them got one....

Gwinas was thankful for the healing the man had given him, and after he was given another potion (which he downed greedily) he stood, unsteadily at first, but then straight and firm. He realised that most of the squad were focusing on the unconscious commander, but he didn't bother crowding him more than he was already. He staid where he was, near the boulder, and the looked to the city.

They were still outside the actual city, the battle they had been in wasn't actually inside the main part. So, instead of crowding the commander, he sat down on the boulder, nursing his head with the palm of his hand, and he stared up at the fort. The pain was still pretty bad, but the potions had done a good enough job of numbing it slightly.

After the rest of the group had come over Kai had decided to leave, realising that he didn't really fit in, and he began towards the city gates. The calls of the Commander from behind him had shown him to be awake.

"Oh, and keep an eye out on the City, if anyone comes out and looks like they're one of these bastards, kill them."

Kai had automatically assumed that they were all dead, and as he carried on toward the city. The gates were ajar, broken with giant wood splinters, the walls beside them were too, smashed and ruined by the warfare. Kai trudged on with the idea of more fighting still on his mind as he entered the city. It seemed barren, with no such form of life, just dead and injured bodies that lie on the snow covered ground. Stepping over men that had fallen, both to the seemingly cursed craziness and the ones that had tried to fight them off. A man, suddenly, ran at Kai, screaming, coming out from an alley at the side of the road, but Kai was aware and avoided the man with some ease, swivelling his body to watch the man crash to the floor. Smirking, Kai stood watching, as the man crawled back up onto his feet. He had no weapon, using only his bare hands to try and grasp Kai. So Kai made the decision not to use his blade, he liked a challenge after all.

The man came again, this time slower and more controlled, still yelling and gurgling from his mindless jaw. But Kai made no attempt to move, this time, catching the man's arm in full swing. He was strong and his determination pushed Kai to his limits, straining to keep hold of the crazy man's arm as it slowly rose toward his own neck. This was what he loved and his simple smirk had now transformed into a beaming smile, before almost laughing as the opponents hand drew closer to its goal. With one last push, Kai managed to bring the arm away, using the momentum from the move to push himself into his enemy and slamming his own shoulder into the chest of his opponent, dragging the arm he still grasped around his back and spinning the screaming man flying to the floor.

It took little time for Kai to decide his next move, his thick boot shattering the frail jaw that lye between it and solid ground, a large crack filling the empty streets with sound.

He began off again, the blood flowing from the dead mans face, but Kai didn't look back, he felt now even more worthy of his bath.

Aerin looked at the captain and smiled. "Well I couldn't let our old captain laying on the job now could we. Wouldn't be fair for the rest of us" she said, the smile turning to a grin. As she helped the Dunmer up, the Imperial in crimson robes took his leave, without even noticing she had been talking to him earlier making the woman rather annoyed.

Next she went over to the Redguard and shook her head lightly. He would have known more about what was going on here than the captain and her group. When the captain said for the group to carry the Redguard with them to give him a burial she nodded and went to help the captain. "Well lets just hope his death was not in vain." She said quietly as the Imperial gazed towards the town gates.

Whatever is going on.. i hope that we will be able to learn more once we have cleared the place out..
