People have died because of these glitches????

Hey there, all of you! Yes, YOU! Y'know, you, the one who complains a lot and writes, and writes, and re-writes the same threads about the same thing? Yea, you! So, I did a little math in my head, since the first day that Crysis 2 came out, there has been complaints; and since the first copied thread, (IE grain bug thread repeatedly popping up) it first happened three days after the game came out! So, the game has been out since March 22nd, and the date today is August 3rd. That's 164 days. 161 Days since two different people posted complaints on the same topic.

Now, easy math. 1.8 people die per second. That's 108 people per minute. There are 1440 minutes in a day, so per day that's 15,520 deaths.

So, since the first day that two different people started complaining about the same **** thing, 2,498,720 people have died (approximately). To put that in perspective, if one life was equal to one period (>>.<< ) I could fill up 42.5 pages top to bottom nothing but periods in 10pt font. Now, if that isn't good enough for you; if each person's life was equal to one mile in distance, we could go back and forth from here to the moon six times. If that still isn't enough; if one person's life was equal to one pound of substance (steel), I could make 631 large passenger cars and still have a little steel left over. If that doesn't quite sum everything up; if one person's life was equal to one gigabyte of information on a hard-drive, I could put 500 gigabyte hard drives in 4,997 different computers, which is six gigabytes short of having 10,000 of the newest XBOX hard-drives. On all of that information in gigabytes, you could store 22,488,400 songs, which is more than twice the amount of different songs predicted to be on this planet today.

So, after all of this anolytic and anological talk, do you still think it is worth it to post new threads on the same issue?

Let's talk time.

The average typing speed in America is 35 words per minute. Most threads do not exceed 50 words by average, so each thread takes about 1 minute 25 seconds to type. Going by that average, I counted 87 complaint threads in the first ten pages of the XBOX 360 Forums, so I’ll round that number up to nine complaints per page. There are currently 117 pages in the 360 forums, so about 1,053 different complaint threads altogether. Multiply that number by 85 seconds and you end up with a whopping 1491.75 minutes, or nearly 25 hours of NON-STOP-COMPLAINING, which is then translated to 22,000 deaths.

If you care, the Complaint thread to Standard thread ratio is 9:16. Nearly half of all threads on the XBOX forums for Crysis 2 are complaints.

To all of you whom can’t find another topic to talk about, or are a frequent contributor to the ever-rising number of complaint threads, please, SHUT THE **** UP, and have a great day. :)

P.S. Thank you Crytek for doing your best in the midst of everything I described.

Indeed. At the end of the day, it's only a game and the MP has no more or less bugs than most games.

The only one I have any sympathy with is the so-called Grain bug as it apparently ruins the SP which people have paid for, BUT it seems pretty minor from what I can see and i'd rather take a $60 hit anyway (less if you just trade it) that spend months in a state of rage.

I believe it blocks your progression. Which isn't minor. (I'm not sure though)

I do agree though. One topic is enough. Especially when that topic is 100+ pages.

Thank you all for the positive feedback. Another 15,520 deaths to add to the complaint counter.

It took me fifteen minutes altogether. 108x15= 108x10 + 108x5 (1,080) + (540) = 1,620 people died during my post creation.
