You got it wrong Syrim is Fallout without guns.
You got it wrong Syrim is Fallout without guns.
Fallout 4 finally announced. WizardSkills is happy.
Too many whiners crawling out of the woodwork if you ask me. They should all go back to playing lame effect and posting on facespace.
Oh, and I thought the dog looked righteous.
Ehhhh,
Fallout 3 was Oblivion with guns.
Skyrim is Fallout 3 without guns.
Fallout 4 is Skyrim with guns.
TES 6 (whatever it will be) will be Fallout 4 without guns.
No, false.. Another reason is because the game goes on sale so you want to buy it for the cheaper price. The price of the game might not be as cheap on day one so you snatch it early. That is my reason for pre-ordering. (GMG buyer)
I would never go for that... the game will get cheaper as time progresses, the CEs sell out and no more are made... The game will never sell out, and eventually drop below $10.
If you want a day 1 copy then buying it for $46 because you pre-ordered and having the ability to cancel whenever you want is a pretty good deal. I got it cheap myself, if I don't like the info I learn leading up to launch I'll just cancel.
But I don't want to wait a year or two after release.. I want to play it day one.. So the best option would be to pre-order it for a cheaper price.. Thus another reason to pre-order.
Yep. This is my concern. The split second of action we see in the trailer and all the memories of wonky animations and hit boxes of NPCs came flooding back. It was Morrowind, I swear. Look at the fluidity of animation in Dishonored or Shadow Warrior, and if they can't at least match that, it's hopeless.
If you want a day one purchase, then yeah... I can see that, but I don't really see tangible a value in a day 1 over a day 1001 purchase, (which is all but guaranteed to be cheaper).
The only risk I can see (it's real, but rare), is that the game grabs such a cult following that the price goes up over time (for physical goods).
I wanted Dishonored gameplay merged with core fallout stuff
Shh you'll startle the masses and give publishers an* idea. It's bad enough that companies* like Ubisoft and Activision (or was it EA) have said they'll continue* dishing out the same crap each year so long as people buy it.
Edit:I really should start rereading before I post.
Sometimes you get better prices after it is out especially on Consoles since a lot of the Console players play the game for a few days and then return it back to the stores. Sometimes you get good deals on that.
I got DA:I for $20CAD for the 360 a few weeks after the game came out and that was not even a returned copy. All other stores was still having it at $60+ CAD.
I say Dishonored's gameplay would be very similar to Deus Ex's but more mobile. This view is the only way to make Fallout have good gameplay in it's current model (we are not talking about top down. I would love if VATs was top down and you could stay in the mode though).
Maybe it's a sign that the Courier's brain taught lessons to those of the Wastes about hygiene and scurrying around tetanus infested structures.
Gameplay before graphics.
More companies need to release honest gameplay trailers, I detest those that market their games on CGI, false advertising in my books. I like the look of the game, it most definitely does not look ugly and retains that unique Bethesda aesthetic.
Agreed. So many games now a days give us C.G.I. trailers long before any type of gameplay trailer trying to hype the game on practically nothing. And most of the time they completely miss the point of the game with the trailer...
As for the graphics... They look great in my opinion. And it's not like the ENBs and texture overhauls won't be coming, along with (hopefully) a high-res texture pack from Bethesda. I'm happy so far.
