Seriously it is all over the place, i mean this people live in a Lovecraftian nightmare world, dead waking up and walking about, demons possessing people and entering mortal world in physical form, giant spiders and other things roaming the wilds, and yet they think it's a good idea to go and make camp somewhere in the middle of nowhere, and promptly get eaten by the first thing that comes around, they seem eager to enter old tombs on a whim and get slaughtered by draugr. This so called "educated people" are the worst of the bunch, undead are well documented phenomenon in Tamriel, there are several books about draugr specifically, and most people you encounter do not seem to be surprised by the phenomenon in the least, and yet you keep having this people who ought to know better dismissing the phenomenon as pure superstition, i mean hello, other scholars documented and explained the phenomenon in detail, it's not folk tales, you have tomes and tomes of well researched data collected by proper methods, but sure, it's perfectly fine if you go into this ancient tomb alone, wearing nothing but plain clothes and without as much as an iron dagger for protection. It's perfectly fine if you make a trip right across the country to visit your old aunt in Rorikstead, it's not like there are giant spiders all over the place, it's perfectly fine if you pass by this old fort, not like every single fort in Skyrim is full of bandits. It's super fine if you spend the night in the cave, it's not like there is something out to kill you in every single one. Seriously the number of people that died from stupidity in Skyrim is greater then the number of those still alive.
