I think it is cool how the name I chose gets spoken sometimes in conversations. I gave my character a common name but I still think it is a cool touch to the game as I've never played a game that will recognize the name you typed yourself and didn't choose from a list or something. Just one of many little details that make this game the best Fallout as of yet.

the game does choose from a list to speak the name, kind of.

There is a list of 1000 names, and if you type that name as your name, It will be used. If you choose a name not on the list, they will say something else (miss/sir/you/etc)

Does anyone know if "Hunter" works anywhere? I haven't gotten that yet, and if not, why in the [censored], it isn't that uncommon...

I have Bacon as my name

its been said 3 times by codsworth but he mostly just calls me mum ...no one else says my name

I chose my real name, Thomas, and the ONLY one that has said it, was Codsworth in the very beginning of the game.

A tiny bit disappointing, but nothing that really matter in the grand scheme of things.

Not sure if a coincidence but I call my character Jack and the Atom Cats keep calling me Jack. Codsworth calls me Mr. Carver as that's my toons last name.

I named my character Morgan Le Fay and they call me Morgan

I named mine Natasha and Codsworth calls me Miss Natasha.....

Yeah, I thought it was cool to hear my name called like that. Probably the first time in a video game. Codsworth became cool the minute he did that, lol.
