Performance in corvega assembly.

Post » Thu Dec 03, 2015 3:02 pm

Never had any issues inside the factory but HUGE fps drops while on top of it. Same goes for lexington, areas around diamond city, and pretty much all of the dense areas. There are probably more areas but I wouldn't know since i quit, the game runs like garbage. Feel free to post about other areas that cause fps drops on this thread. This is a known issue, don't need any advice or "its your pc."

Those are just dense areas and even beefy pc's get drops in those spots. Usually lowering shadow distance to medium helps alot (if it wasn't there already.)

Without specs I'm going to assume you're running it on a toaster.

If its a known issue why bother posting?

New beta patch has addressed this issue, as you'd have seen if you bohered to read the sticky before you posted.

Good luck!

na, 4790k 970ftw+ If you read the post I said comment with other LOCATIONS (always read everything before assuming something) new beta patch has not addressed the issues of fps drops on TOP of corvega or any of the other areas.

so I need a $3000 setup to run the game on max lmao okay.....obviously the game does not perform that well and my setup is more than enough for this game. People need to stop svcking up to bethesda and understand that there are huge performance issues.

same here, i7 4790k 4,8ghz oc, r9 295x2 8gb oc, 8gb ram, pcie ssd and performance on top of corvega (and similar locations) still unchanged, fps dropping from ~90 to below 30 with cpu and gpu usage at around 30%...now that is what I call optimization :S

Lol and its funny because i read the patch notes prior to posting. Patch notes refer to performance INSIDE corvega not on top. Think you should stop assuming things guy.

ashttp://www.gamesas.com/user/662176-b1gbaddaddy/ said

try the beta patch, a new version of which just came out today and the patch notes specifically say

  • General memory and stability improvements
  • Performance improvements inside the Corvega Assembly Plant

yeah I did, can confirm the game still runs like trash. Nowhere in this post did I say that this patch didnt fix INSIDE corvega. If you read the post I said on TOP of corvega. As for every other location, fps still gets tanked. Thanks.

Ok so I was sneaking on the forum in work and didn't catch the inside part shh ;) but hey! At least the patches are coming in. 3rd one in 3 weeks ain't bad :)

To note on top of the plant I never dropped frames below my usual 50 locked. Running medium settings, ultra tex, 1080p on an FX 8350 @ 4.3GHz and GTX 760.

Think it could be hardware related? Like certain cards or configs? Maybe driver?

Edit

A few crash reports have a 970, so I'm starting to think there's a thing with that card specifically that Bethesda need to address.

Edit 2

In my defense your thread title says IN so, maybe let me off? Back to studying!
