Performance of Crysis 2 in dual-core processors

Post » Fri Aug 31, 2012 1:53 am

I know both my CPU (Core 2 Duo E8400) and my GPU (ATI HD 5770) are borderline for a good performance in Crysis 2, and I have the feeling that my CPU is the main bottleneck, but I'd like to know the opinion of other players with dual core CPUs.

Somebody with a stronger card and a similar CPU is happy with the performance?

Give this thread a read. It gives some perspectives (generally speaking)

I was aware of that comparison, because of it I'm considering buying a Q9550 (but maybe later, nowadays I don't have the money), but I'm afraid I won't see a big improvement because of the GPU...
