As the title states, I need mods that will improve FPS for my game.

I'm going to be travelling soon and would like to play this game every now and then for a chill down but the problem is I want the settings to be near enough to the max. It's a rubbish laptop but on medium settings I'm able to play with around 15 - 30 FPS with the vanilla game.

What I need are mods that will improve my FPS in game and make this beautiful game playable! List all the mods possible that will improve my performance but WON'T allow me to notice a huge quality drop. (I want to experience this beautiful game as I play without having rubbish graphics.)

I do wish I could take my computer with me but travelling with a gaming computer isn't exactly ideal.

If your vanilla game runs at 15-30 on medium settings, then you will never do any better than that by adding more things to your game. So, no mods.

Leaning more to 'tweaks' for the game, you're actually wrong. I've started searching myself and I've found something called 'streamline' which according to many other people has helped them out a lot.

Unfourtunately, gothemasticator is right. There is no magic tweak that will make you go from medium to near max. Also,http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/10400/? is no magic fix but is still worth a shot for you (I haven't really noticed much from it on my old PC but you may see it).
