V.A.N.S perk useless?

Post » Tue Dec 15, 2015 5:57 pm

Can someone please explain how to use the V.A.N.S perk?

VATS doesn't work outside combat and nothing shows in combat so either i'm doing something wrong or perk is bugged and does nothing at all

Hold the V.A.T.S. button when in a quest (with a quest selected in your Pip-Boy), in battle or outside it, doesn't matter. It makes a green "path indicator", showing you the shortest path to go to your next objective.

First perk that I get. First perk that I regret. I hated it... I always disagree of the path that it shows, and also I always find a better shortcut.

If you didn't get it, don't get it. If you did... well... I know that feel bro.

Thanks. Never thought of holding the vats button down. So it's like the clairvoyance spell in Skyrim?

A total waste of a perk? At least their is no level cap.

I'm glad someone else wasted a perk -pick on this because it looked a dud to me, but I still wondered how it worked.

Some of the paths especially to Mila's are all messed up. Even with the perk though it'll probably path you in and out of the same door trying to get to the roof anyway.

Bethesda fails at making quest-finding lines. They're usually https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rpkcWgFsjQ Just walk directly toward the point instead, you'll always get there quicker.

There are a few people who can't find their way using/ or sometimes not using the marker on the compass. It is THE perk to have for them but it is useless for almost everyone else.
