There is most likely a thread about that, but I search some pages and found nothing.


I can't upgrade most of my perks? I'm at level 14 on my second character, I stop the first one due to some quest bugs.

So I'm at 37 in heavy armor and I can't upgrade something that requires 30 or I'm at 40 in blacksmith and I was only able to upgrade the first perks. (Yes, yes I have points to upgrade my perks)

So what's going on?

Is there something I can do?

Will I be forced to start a new game once more?

Do you have the prerequisite perks for it? You have to work your way up the trees.

If this is not the problem, then idk what to tell you.

What do you mean exactly by "prerequisite"?

Meaning you cannot skip perks, you have to take them in order.

Ok, then, in that case, I have the prerequisite.

I was starting to think I missed something. In my first attempt to play this game, the perk tree worked fine.

Do you have perks to spend? You only get one per level.

Yes I have a spare point to spend.

Yeah I'm having the same problem. I meet all the prerequisites for my perks and points to spend on them but it won't let me get any perks beyond the bottom tier. Anyone have a fix for this?
