Permanent head injury ?

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 8:03 am

Hello everyone,

After fighting the Forsworn, i was hit in the face with an arrow, thinking (like it always does), it would go away eventually, i saved over previous saves and continued further in the game. I switch between 1st and 3rd depending on what environment i am in, so i was deep into a Dwemer ruin and mostly in 1st person (cannot see perma arrow in 1st) a couple of hours later i emerge from the ruins and switch to 3rd and i still have this arrow sticking out of my head.

I remove all my armor, i put on other suits of armor, light, heavy, caster robes, hats, helmets, buckets, fish... you get the point. I sleep multiple times, save the game, restart, reboot the computer. I have done it all but i am now a bi-pedal Nordicorn.

If anyone has a suggestion that i might have missed (reverting to an old save is not possible, 3 others in my house play the game on the same computer), i would sincerely appreciate your input, while i may be a unique Nordicorn, its really annoying to have an arrow protruding from my face, even worse its those crappy Forsworn arrows.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

{{{Update}}} Thanks to Gneilson i have had my Nordicornism fixed, Thanks for the advice Gnielson !!

Did you drop all the arrows in your inventory?

Once you get shot again, it should disappear along with the new arrows.

I had exactly the same problem and I managed to find a fix.

1. Go to your home (Do all below in first person).

2. Go to the chest where you store your weapons.

3. Withdraw all the arrows you own, (all types), into your inventory

4. Exit the chest screen

5. Open the chest and put all arrows back in

6. Close the chest and go into 3rd person

Let me know if you need anymore help.

George

EDIT: Make sure when you have some of the foreswarn arrows in the chest before you withdraw them and be sure than when following step 5 you put all arrows back in.

You must look very formidable with an arrow stuck in your head.

This happened to me not too long ago. Forgot what I was fighting, but they hit me with some kind of Frost spell, and I was walking around with this shard of ice sticking out of my back for a while.

It just went away eventually. :)
