So, I'm having an issue with the "Last Voyage of the USS Constitution" quest. During the final attack by the scavvers on the ship (siding with the robots, of course. I'm no monster), I got the "quest failed" message repeatedly. I read online that this can happen if Ironsides dies or the scavvers reach the top deck of the ship, but neither of those were the case. At any rate, on my approximate 2000th try, I managed to kill all the scavengers without failing the quest. However, Ironsides refuses to acknowledge me, instead repeating dialogue about the FLL3 Turbopump Bearings, and my Pip-Boy still says to "Defend the USS Constitution". It's been several weeks both in-game and out, doing other quests, checking back now and then, and still nothing. I've shut off my Xbox several times since then, and no change.

I'm sure someone else has encountered this problem, and I'd really like to get it fixed, since it's a cute quest and I want to see the resolution. Help, anyone?

I haven't been able to get the turbopump bearings in that quest. That quest is definitely fubar.


Have you tried making a save, killing some bots so the quest fails, reloading the old save, and trying again? I read about that one reddit where it worked when someone was having the same problem. Or maybe run away from there and quick travel back to the boat?

Yeah, definitely tried that. Bladed Aluminum Baseball Bat right to Ironsides's face. Definitely didn't fix it.
