When I got that beta invite, I was a bit sketchy about the game. Ok I loved Skyrim and ok, I loved WoW. But that didn't have to mean I'd have to love this game. Then again, Seeing the gameplay videos made me warm on the inside...

I logged in and something went wrong. (What I can't say of course because of teh NDA). Contacted the tech support and at fiorst it seemed like there was a monkey on the other side. He gave me advise, but he wasn't sure it would work. I could've told him that moment that it wouldn't. But I didn't and followed his advise, with no solution of course. Then i contacted the tech support again and wowie, was I surprised! Friendly guy, empathic with me... Without saying a thing he said: Aww, too bad you can't play man, I'll try and find a solution for you! This alone makes a good support... It seamed like he really loved his job! At that time, the problem I had was occuring all over teh world and they were desperatly searching for a solution. So the friendly guy said to me: You know what, I'll send you an email and you can respond to that. We will email you a solution as soon as we have one! I went to a bar, got the solution in my mailbox and alacazam, the next morning I was playing.

This alone made me tip over the edge for pre-ordering.

And then, the game itself came. I wasn't very pleased with my first character, but that's a personal opinion on how you play the game. so very last minute, I made a new one. This was the one... You know that character who does everything for you before you even think about it? That character that does everything like you want it, not like the game wants it. Normally I don't like the close combat thing and am more of Archer guy but boy, is ESO a different world!

Long story short, good job ESO. the game was very smooth for a beta, gameplay was awesome, tech support was awesome... Keep it going like this and I'm sure this will be a blast in April!
