What does it matter if he powerlevels to 50 as fast as he can? It's his game. He paid his money, let him play the way he wants.

He won't be able to get to VR10 nowhere near as fast so he can't complain about the lack of content.

You have a point, guess i just wanted to see if anyone remembered me from those days and might think it would be fun to play with me, maybe connect with some old friends.

I don't *care*. But these are discussion boards, and we are discussing things here so I expressed my opinion, or my wonder about the powerleveling practice. I don't really care how these people watch their movies or play their games, it's their money and time to waste as they want. Though I wish I wouldn't have to encounter them in game but it's not a big deal.

As i said, Its only the first character... nothing says that im not going to make another one to play with to experience the things i missed or didn't have time to. This is just what we are planning, things might turn out differently. Just looking for someone likeminded.

just out of curiosity (I'm not trying to insult or anything) but what life circumstances do you and your friends have where you are able to spend so much time 14-16hours/day levelling? Spring break? Disability?

I'll just wait here for the inevitable " Questing to end game takes too long", and the consequent nerf to difficulties within the game or XP boosts. :stare:

It's really not hard to get to 50. The content is easy, and if they played in shifts they could do it in 3 days probably.

I work fulltime as a Regional Account Manager, I did however request with that with my employment i would get 30 days of payed vacation per year. I saved 5 days from last year and took out those vacation days for this release. So yes, I do intend to enjoy playing this game. The way I like playing it...

maybe you haven't realised: there is no "endgame pve" yet and "endgame pvp" starts with level 10 already

Instead of asking "why does this guy want to power level". The question people should be asking themselves is "Why do I care?".

God people , this game is about choice, let the OP play the way he wishes. I will be trying to powerlevel as well on AD EU.

Instead of posting this reply, you should have asked yourself "why do I care that they care" ?

At lvl 10 you dont have weapon swap, you have maybe 20 skill points out of the 260 or so you can get... you lack gear, skills, crafting and much more. In MMOs there is no "end"... I'm just saying i want to get to the point where we try to beat the hardest things in game or have everything we can get for pvp, focusing more on the actuall gaming rather than lacking experience due to material things.

My silly initial comment aside, i just really hope those players chosing to high-tail it to 50 asap aren't going to turn around at 50 and start [censored]ing that they are bored. Not talking about the OP per se, i mean in general, the most powerful of the power-levelers.

Funny thing is that most players will also watch streams of ESO... Most top streamers will have powerleveling streams with players playing in shifts etc.... So I think its a pretty common thing.

You seem like one of the good guys who won't complain when you hit max lvl and there's not much to do after a month, I like that.

Though I have to say I get a bit twitchy when people speedrun through the game and complain that they have nothing to do, in that case a big fat "go figure" is appropriate.
