Personal Review of Crysis 3

First off I would like to thank Crytek for another stellar game. I own every game in the series and have enjoyed each and every one of them.

Campaign:
I have completed it once on Soldier and I must say it felt very nice. It allowed me to get a good feel of the game while taking a slower pace to appreciate the scenery and characters. I loved the side story and Psycho and his loss of his suit and the pain he went through. I very much approve of the end of the campaign but felt more attention to the fate of Alcatraz was needed rather than a data slate that said his file was corrupted.

9/10. Couldn't give a 10 due to shortness of story

Multiplayer:
I will admit I svcked...hard...at Crysis 2's MP. I am not sure what it was but boy was I bad. In Crysis 3 I am getting better and better and my K/D is climbing closer to a positive. It might be balancing, it might be better ping, it might be some mystical techno magick that a TechPriest of WH40k would understand. Either way the multiplayer is fantastic. If I am dominated by a insta-gib gun (gauss rifle) or blown away by a SCAR with attachments out the wazoo and perks to boot I know they were earned and I was rightly defeated (unlike a certain popular shooter that gives shuch weapons day 1). The best thing is actually if my team loses. The announcer doesn't berrate you or make you feel hurt on an emotional level but encourages you to play on. My favourite phrase was "You were both equals...they just brought a bit more this time".

9/10 I feel a mode similar to...ugh...CoD's* bootcamp where you fight bots would have gone down well in the unranked matches to get practice in rather than waiting for ages for a match.

*really did not want to mention that game...I really didn't.
