Persuade me

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 12:08 am

Christmas is coming up, I'll be able to use my laptop. I was so looking forward to playing Morrowind, but now I'm leaning more SWTOR (no slagging off SWTOR please).

This whole MK business has really started to put me off the whole TES idea., how ever stupid this sentence sounds(because if I'm not going to try and get as much lore knowledge, then what's the point playing at all, or at least that's my opinion).

Can anybody make me lean back to TES?

Cheers I suppose. :L

If you don't like TES, fine. If you don't like TES because of MK, fine. Go play SWTOR, I hear its pretty fun.

Because I wanna like TES though, my inspiration for it is dwindling though. Oblivion was the best thing that happened to me video game wise.

I am an Elder Scrolls fan. But I am also a Star Wars fan. I suggest buying SWTOR instead of Morrowind. You got much more content on SWTOR. There is voice overs for your character, dire choices that will impact your future gameplay and an array of great characters. Not to mention you can choose cool classes like a Sith Warrior, or Bounty Hunter or the more James Bond-esque Imperial Agent. No other game offers a good Sith experience or Jedi experience like SWTOR does. I played it for beta and I fell in love with the story.

I already have Morrowind, just no PC :3 And I'm sure MW is better for it's time. Either way, I'll be playing both but I respect your opinion.

This thread baffles me. You are demanding we spend our time persuading you to like The Elder Scrolls? It's your choice, if you are done with TES, then leave, and stop attempting to drag out your misgivings with the series.

I'm not demanding, I can't force you to do anything, I'm merely requesting that people try and help. I think I've made my mind up anywho.

Ya know, he made it lore so that in Oblivion, Cyrodiil is a forest rather than a jungle; so basically, ya enjoying his (forced) creation.

That saying, if ya not playing Morrowind just because of MK, then go play SWTOR.

EDIT: Keep forgetting to add words

I can go on and on about why TES is the best thing since sliced bread, but if you're loosing interest that really won't do anything for you.

Besides, SWTOR vs. Morrowind isn't a binary choice. Play some SWTOR, take a break and play some MW, then maybe do a match in COD. The point of playing games is to enjoy yourself, not gain lore knowledge. If you're not having fun there's no reason to be playing.
