Peryite's Pit Expansion

Post » Wed Jan 05, 2011 2:52 am

Since Peryite is some kind of Daedric Dragon Prince it is really interesting to go to his Realm and then you are on the side of The Dragons
Since it is also a Dragon Invasion i think a Peryite Realm Expansion should really fit the Dragon Invasion in Skyrim Because he is also some kind of Dragon

I would like to go to his Realm

it's Called Peryite's Pit or The Dragon Pit

Peryite's Pits(Dragon Pit)are the lowest reaches of Oblivion, resembling a fiery and gloomy hell (much like Mehrunes Dagon's) in which Daedra roam.

Seen enough of that, thank you.

If I want to see a Daedric realm at all, give me something extremely new that I've never seen before.

It would be too similar to Dagon's realm in Oblivion, which I am sick of so I don't think it would be a good idea. There are far more interesting settings for and expansion in Oblivion.

Really? Because we went to Peryite's realm in his Daedric Shrine quest in TES4, and it was exactly like Dagon's Deadlands.

Also, Peryite appears as a serpent only because he wants to. He can take on whatever appearance he wants, he's not limited to being a dragon.

Of course they can, but why? It's very similar to the Deadlands, and we've had enough of that in the last game, and your only justification is that Peryite is a dragon. I think we'll have enough of dragons in the main quest of Skyrim. I also cannot imagine spending an entire expansion in The Pit like in the Shivering Isles. It is not a welcoming place and I can't imagine there's much in the way of conversation.

That's called lazy gamedesign.

I'm sure Peryites's realm has its own feel.

I'd like to go there, cause hes my favorite taskmaster.

This,
but in any case, I would rather have a sanguine realm or a nocturnal realm to go to.

Don't forget about Boethiah's realm! A foggy world of craggy towers and elaborate sprawling hedge mazes. http://uesp.net/wiki/File:OB-place-Boethia%27s_Realm_Statue.jpg

Even though I'm sure Beth could make this work I hope they have another type of expansion for Skyrim. Having a Daedric Realm expansion in both Oblivion and Skyrim wouldn't be very original, IMO.

Sounds like "Oblivion 2: Oblivion with Dragons." I've Oblivioned enough already and I'm guessing Skyrim's original content will have me more than dragoned out. I want something else.

Except that they didn't when we went there in Oblivion. Let's go someplace else, thank you very much- not "Same old Oblivion realms as last game, but there are dragons now!"

Let's visit some unvisited realms of Daedric princes, and enough with the "been there" rehashes.

I am all for everything Daedrc, HOWEVER, I would be happy with explorable pockets of the various Daedric realms, akin to the pockets we got of The Deadlands (versus the full realm experience of Shivering Isles). . . and IF it came down to a A, B or C but not all three situation. . . there are other realms I would rather visit than Peryites, in so much as it might indeed be too much like The Deadlands, of which I have already seen plenty. The only thing about Peryite's province that really lends itself, aside from him being a dragon in form, is the fact that, being taskmaster to many lesser daedra, we might get to see more of the sub-races.

I would actually like that because you'll get to figure out what happened to the guy Divayth Fyr taught to get into the Daedric Planes.
