Pete Hines on fan interview

Post » Sun Oct 10, 2010 4:13 pm

Pete Hines twitter

@DCDeacon: Do you know if the fan interview on the beth forums is just gonna be a re-run of past answers and a brick wall for new info?

@msmitchell6512: No, it won't just be a re-tread. (not too deep, but thats a nice answer)

Also yesterday the fan interview questions were sent over to the Bethesda team

gstaffinfection: Matt Grandstaff

Just sent over the Skyrim fan interview questions to Todd & Co. Great questions... should have great answers too

Good to hear! Hopefully they'll pay no heed to the stupid questions like "tell me about dragon shouts for the 5,000th time". :teehee:

No idea what your question was, but they've already confirmed that riding dragons is out.

We could have confirmed hand to hand, given you the skill list, and explained how race and encumbrance affect running and jumping, but it seems that all you are interested in is werewolves. Well, if we can get them right, we are talking about............

Elder Scrolls VI: A PC-exclusive MMO about vampire warewolves who can see their feet in first person, need to sleep, and ride dragons while wielding a spear ;)

A while ago they said they are looking into it if they have time or something... but that was a while ago, we need new fresh info and for them to know how much the community wants werebeasts!! So I hope they answer this question, cause it was asked like every other time in the first thread for QA.

I really want new stuff answered not the same ole tid bit mashup, im hoping pete is serious about his reply.

Aaah, waiting for them to answer those questions is pain! I want the LIST of questions they actually gave the team so I know whether even to get excited...

Still good to hear that's coming along. *crosses fingers for his politics & plot related questions*

DCDeacon Pete Hines

Folks, I can't give an estimate on Skyrim fan interview. As soon as they can. They're also trying to get ready for E3 and finish a game.

Well i guess twitter followers pushed pete in a corner lol

The hard part is probably choosing among all the questions. They do know the answers after all, so it's not like that part would take very long.

Hopefully it's up tomorrow the only problem I see is how much info does Beth want to release to us.

With the Fan Interview likely coming before E3 they probably won't answer certain questions that they likely would have if this was after E3. Some of the questions probably pertain to stuff that they'll be discussing/showing at E3.

The real difficulty in answering the questions is picking good questions while ALSO picking questions that they're allowed to answer. They can't just answer all of them, because some are really clever and ask about things that they've been pretty secretive about.
