Why would they show it to so many different groups at the same time if the demo didn't have anything ultra special.

So the rest of the press who's not Game Informer can see it? So Beth can show what they are working on? Pete's already confirmed that it is the SAME demo that they showed Game Informer.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see gameplay. I'll just be shocked if it happens before E3.

22nd for people with eastern standard time. Like me. 1am est, Friday morning, the 22nd.

Or for people east from that. Like, the rest of the world.

When can we finally switch to UTC? :sadvaultboy:

I know it's the same demo.
When they showed it to just one (Gameinformer), it was probably because they didn't wan't a lot of unintended info to go out. But now that they have showed it to so many, they surely don't care about the infos in that demo to remain concealed anymore.

Oh I see what you mean. Well yea in that case we may learn some new details. Nothing too big though since it was a guided walkthrough, so Beth only showed what they wanted too.

There will be no demo video to find. We're getting written articles to read, new screens, and some interviews. The articles should start populating tomorrow such as IGN's.

I know there's going to be *something* new because they don't hold a private presser in Utah and show the same things everyone's already seen. We've no idea what is new yet but we'll know this week. It's going to be so hard to work. :)

Another thing is that, when u share a secret with one, it stays a secret.
But when u share the same secret with 20, there's bound to be leaks.

So, I for one am very optimistic about great info coming my way. Well for me even a slight bit is rated as great.

I wonder how many new screens the press were given to go along with their articles?

I hope we get to see a finishing move applied to a spider...or the hero trapped in the webs struggling to escape...

What I am wondering is whether everyone was given an exclusive/alone interview/demo or was it collective?
That would make a lot of difference in what they have to share with us.

Photos prove the interviews were separate. I imagine everyone was fitted into a big room for the demo.

I'm finally starting to get bored of watching the same trailer 5-10 times a day, I suppose it will remain like this for 6 more months.

I believe everyone was together. Pete tweeted a pic of the demo room they were in and you could see everyone was playing Brink or RAGE. I can't remember which one. So I think everyone was in that room when a Beth employee walked them through the Skyrim demo.

speaking of spiders, i hope they now crawl on walls and ceilings instead on just the ground.

imagine lighting a torch in a dark cave and looking upwards to see lots of spiders crawling above you prepared to pounce.

There will definitely be a new trailer at E3 and a hands-on at Quakecon.

I wouldn't say definitely. Plus, there will be no public hands on demo. Ever. According to Pete.

As gone over there's a doubt on hands on footage due to the usual really devoted fan overreaction.

This relating to the Oblivion demo. And as we know Bethesda's modified Gamebryo engine isn't capable of the sort without falling on its own ass. (Well maybe on TES. Fallout's grit seems to be harder on the engine.)

So unless its fully official whatever detail your interested in won't reach your eyes or ears.

Yes, the demo was a hands off guided walkthrough. Played by a Beth employee.

I assume we'll see the same for Skyrim. Not anytime soon, but that's what I'd bet on for E3.

Pete meant no playable demo that can be downloaded. The full game will be featured at Quakecon and is very likely going to be playable. It's only a couple of months away from release and Bethesda is going to want those hands-on impressions.
