If a demo is being shown... Does it mean we are going to see it soon?

I guess so :celebration:

Well we were told that gametrailers will have a special on Skyrim next Wednesday, so hopefully that'll be included :D

Holy forums! What is this?
Forged in Todd's very flames!

Do mine eyes, tell me lies?
A demo for the new ElderScrolls game!

Time shall come! It shall fly!
Alduin himself shall come forth!

Goodbye grades, goodbye life
And goodbye drinken friends!

I'll come for you Akatosh, catch you later Empire.
I'll be gone... Adrea, I'm no longer your fool!

Other info filled the gap
While I waited to see...

The demo of all time
in the land of Skyrim!

All of 60 seconds. It helps when I had http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9eGtyqz4gY to start with.

More than likely what we will get are reviews of the demo from those press folks who are there to see the demo. And it does not say "hands on" so I wouldn't get my hopes up for actual footage of the demo. But getting that many opinions and descriptions of what they saw will be great. Each will come away with something small or big that they noticed. Can't wait for those reviews to start coming out.

I'm guessing this too, but hoping it's not this.

No doubt we all love new gameplay/footage etc,but reading info too is just as good for me. As long as we find out a few new things it will be fine. And i'm sure our discussions of that will pass the time too. :) At least we know we are getting some new info.

More news and possible new features being announced is never a bad thing so next week is going to be fun.

Pete said it's not a morsel, so expect more goodies than the IGN interview.

Yeah...you can tell when a game still needed an extra 6 months of work.

You think it still needs 6 months of work?

Now...if they showed a demo to 105 press members from around the world...
Just what are they going to show at E3?!

Hmmm...

Pete confirmed a long time ago that there E3 booth will be "closed off" and "by appointment only".

As much as I want Skyrim, I don't want to know things too soon...the secrecy is part of the fun too. :)

Who's to say?
Except for the devs and management, nobody knows how far along the line it is. If they finish earlier, let such time be spent on a new neat feature,
(such as climbing.)

DIdn't know that. Thanks.
Still it will have to be an upgrade from this media event. Hands-on preview? Free cupcakes?

Honestly yes. It's in the last months that teams try to eliminate bugs, glitches etc etc...and basically polish the game so I'm guessing that's what they're doing now

Someone tweeted Pete and asked if this demo is hands on, or a guided walkthrough. Hopefully we'll find out soon.

@yanks4champs It's a demo, no hands on for a while. We prefer to show folks the game when they are seeing it for the first time.

It's a walkthrough, not hands on.

Yea, just saw that. I'm not sure now if E3 will even be hands on for the press. Maybe around Quakecon in August?

Walkthrough? Hopefully it shows the character creation, since Pete Hines said : "We prefer to show folks the game when they are seeing it for the first time." so hopefully it shows the tutorial in the beginning of the game, which includes character creation.
