@RealNQD Ah. They're referring to being able to turn off quest targets (which you can do), not the compass (which you can't).
Well we finally got our answer Guess the console versions just got less fun. Poor show Bethesda, poor show :nope:
Sorry about the lack of a link but there's no specific url that I can see. Just look at DCDeacons' timeline and you'll find it. You don't need an account.
I really like being able to turn off quest targets, but a forced compass makes little difference to me. Even the ancient navigators had ways of figuring out directions.
It makes sense being able to not turn off the compass. It's there for helping to guide you North if you had to go north, but I do like the fact you can turn off quest targets.
Don't throw a party just yet. Wait til people play the game, then freak out because the NPC didn't give them directions because they marked it on their map. Then it'll be "Bethesda is MAKING ME use the compassssarrrrrgggg!!!111one!"
toddler friendy? Try: People who actually don't have infinite amounts of spare time because they don't live in their mother's basemant friendly.
So you're making the argument that any sort of hardcoe gamer or a gamer who doesn't want their hand held is a mouthbreathing basemant dweller? What an ignorant thing to say. My job at the SDZ, my fiance, and my rent payment would like to have a word with you.
That's cool! I like the quest markers sometimes when things get messy and I don't want to read page after page to find the right quest (morrowind). AND if someone complains about the compass, I'm going to pierce them on a fishystick!
