Imeant the part about the Bungie employee.
The bungie employee- writers on bungie.net are incredibly quick witted and funny. And they have the muscle to back it up.
warning: this is a real example from a real thread. The context is people saying that they did not credit boost in halo reach. EXAMPLE:
I dont understand how I didnt come up as a false positive. I havent played since the 11th and not once have i used network manipulation or reset challenges. The worst Ive done was the Oni mission thing and quit thta becasue it was wayyyyy too boring. Im 100% sure Im innocent of any cheating, and I dont enjoy being wrongfully accused of this. GT- DOA iZ SWAT
?Interesting case.??Your account, "DOA iZ SWAT", was picked up for 30+ syncs of 1500 credits each between 10/12/2010 2:24:30 PM and 10/12/2010 2:41:25 PM. That is sufficent to demonstrate intent.??You claim you haven't played since the 11th, but the account clearly has. So, possibly someone else recovered your account and played without your knowledge. So I looked into that possibility too.??Sure enough, your account was active on a new machine, 18014398509498707306, between 10/12/2010 1:36:00 PM and 10/12/2010 2:50:00 PM. Which matches up with your claim.??However, the machine 18014398509498707306 appears to belong to one "MLG Quotients", previously "xLDx iZ RiPPiN", who you seem to know as you have played custom games with in the weeks leading up to 10/12. This suggests one of two things to me:??1) You did this on an acquaintance's machine.?2) Your acquaintance did this on his machine, with or without your knowledge.??In either case, you will need to take it up with him. I am satisfied that the reset was correctly applied to the account for benefitting from the exploit, and the suspension stands. I will not extend this suspension, as this isn't a case of someone trivially lying.??But I suggest you have words with your associate. (Who, I should note, was also reset.)
