Homefront has Dedicated Servers (for a reason "16 vs 16"?)

So Crysis 2 should have some too, and use p2p as a backup if all are full.

I sign with...

Doomed Marine: Game obviously cannot handle player hosting. It needs dedicated servers like the PC version. Nearly every game I play people are whining about lag issues. Other wise fix the network code and make the game select the best connection.

Or if like many games I play, if the majority of players are Australian, pick an Aussie to host, not the single person from America or UK who happens to be in the game. I'm yet to have 4 green bars and I'm on a high speed ADSL2+ connection. I only ever see one person in a match with 4 bars and I'm assuming that is whomever is host.

Maybe do something like HALO Reaches option to search for games with good connection, or show players bars in the lobby to see whether it's worth staying or leaving before the match. If you can show them in game and after the match, surely it can be done before the game also.

I'll sign because it's doing no harm. But just don't get your hopes up and don't bash Crytek when they ignore this petition. It's most likely never going to happen. All online FPS games are like this shortly after release. It's wobbly and you feel you're fighting with the game. Just be patient, it's evident that the devs are working hard because of the multiple updates they have already rolled out. It's frustrating, but you just need to grin and bear it. I remember when Halo Reach and Battlefield were released they were pretty temperamental and believe me when I say that Crysis 2 is definitely not as bad as they were on release.

Alien of XRAIN

Never saw any of these petitions to actually work, but I still sign anyway. I can't play the multiplayer well at all, because it's always so freaking laggy. The servers in the demo worked great compared to this, only got 2 laggy matches out of about 200 back then.
