Dungeon Trawling can be a lonely business - I don't mind having a pet but I suspect it would get munched pretty quick by any dragon

If you want pets and i mean like with advance A.I. there is a game coming out that is going to have a mind boggling ecosystem , with breeding...so on so forth ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHGFVAr7tZ4 this is the man who made the creature series and who probably inspired peter monly(however you spell his name) to make Black & White.

anyways what im trying to say is I would love a pet but not if it's a mindless drone.

I loved that creature series. too bad i cant play it on vista

anyway a pet is a good idea. a dog or wolf or some other small creature that could easily be domesticated.

@OP You should really make the last Question multiple choice.

In any case, a Mubcrab would be good, but so would a wolf, dog, cat, bear or boar.

I voted no.

But if you look at summons then they pretty much resemble pets (summon scamp/summon daedroth?) so unless they figured out a new purpose for the conjuration tree then pets are already IN.

The companion Dogmeat added a sense of companionship to the game. So a pet system would be interesting and welcome Imo

i usually hate having pets in MMOs but in a single player RPG it could be pretty kool!

I want I rat I can ride on as this poll missed horses. The rats in Skyrim will probably be horse sized, look at the size in Morrowind Oblivion and Fallout 3 and follow the trend.

I would want a dog, not just any dog, a german shepard thats my guard dog and it could help me hunt deer etc

A dog would be a great companion for this game. It could help you spot enemies by barking and growling. :happy:
