It's only unfamiliar to those who either don't get...or refuse to see....that the Legion's true model is the Totalitarian Dictatorships of the 20th Century. Eddie looks so proud of himself when he tells you how he designed CL to be a Totalitarian State whose sole purpose was to serve and exalt it's leader. The Legion has no morality, what is Right and wrong is what Caesar says they are on a case by case basis. He'd happily order one of the many latina slaves laboring around the camp crucified for using a stimpack even as he was being worked on by his AutoDoc.
