I had the GOTY edition of Morrowind. I have the Collector's Edition of Oblivion. I'll continue the trend with Skyrim.

Normal. I'm just buying the game to play and enjoy it... I don't really care for some collectible things...

Yeah same here, the CE would have to be pretty damn special for it to interest me. Usually it's more of an annoyance with it taking up more space :P

It depends on what the CE has, but judging from the TES IV CE, I will buy the TES V CE too. Worth it!

I'll be getting the collector's edition, unless it has a really horrible bang for my buck.

I will be buying it on steam. If it is a Steamworks game, I will buy the collectors edition for PC. If it is not, I will buy it on steam, then buy the CE for the 360.

I really want to buy the collector's edition and I hope that this time that Bethesda is publishing their own games they will ship some Collector's Editions of Skyrim to my country (Greece) because the one of Oblivion never made it with 2k.

What's different from the Collector's and Standard?
For Oblivion the Collector's had the pocket guide and the Imperial coin right?

Also how much do they differ in price?

Nothing's been announced yet in terms of content or price.

People are committing based on pure guesswork.

I want an uber collectors edition. With games like Halo you get a standard edition, a collectors edition and then super awesome uber collectors edition. I want one of those.

I only hope it will be like Oblivion, and available early. Am I ever pissed to find out about the Morrowind collector's edition... -_- I already have the GOTY and the Soundtrack. *grumbles*

... I want that artbook and that ordinator figure. :P But since my GOTY is the second Morrowind I buy it seems wellll... crazy to buy it again just for that.

Hehe, a quite limited numbers of Morrowind's CE were made (5000 or so IIRC) and hard to get even at launch. Didn't stop me from getting it, though :P

In any case, the Oblivion and Fallout CEs were made in much larger quantities and I expect the same will happen to Skyrim.

Collectors Edition. I wish i had bought the Oblivion Collectors Edition. But ofcause, at that time, i didn't know exactly what to expect. It was my first RPG and Oblivion single handedly made it my favourite genre. I only bought it because of a review which made it sound like a game just for me but still, that isn't much to go after. I will be sure not to make the same mistake again.
