Like most people on this board I am having trouble with my game freezing. I am running the game of the year edition from steam. These are my specs.

I initially had a problem with the game crashing at the opening sequence but altering the bUseThreadedAI=0 fixed that up.

Now I am stuck on the Picking up the Trail quest. Right when I walk into the Citadel to talk to Doctor Li the HUD disappears and the game freezes. I am able to look around but cannot move or talk to the group in front of me.
I tried to simply skip the quest which worked, but now it seems like I can't complete the game. The quest is listed as completed but the group with Dr. Li is still standing in the Citadel and I still cannot approach them. Is there any solution to this that doesn't involve starting a new game?
