I'd move it to mods... but chickens do not have pockets. So first they would have to mod in clothing for chickens and make sure to include pockets and... well, I don't think it is going to happen.

Beside, you can find chicken eggs on the farms, and lots of nests out in the wild to get other bird eggs.
