Pickpocket Skill Tree

Being completely honest, if perfect touch lets you take clothes off people - however unrealistic that is, it will be a great source of amusemant to me when I play a thief character.

I think I'll really enjoy Misdirection -- it'd be just like my thief to steal a sword right out of a guards scabbard in the middle of a heist.

I love them all! It sounds awesome to be able to pickpocket their equipped items, reverse-pickpocket poisons (hopefully smoother than Oblivion's poisoned apples/"cursed" gear), or just specialize in stealing money, keys or targeting sleeping persons.

I can't wait to try out the perk system! :D

Most definitely the poison one! :)

My char is going to be a archer/thief silent type guy. there is nothing more satisfying than going into a dungeon and killing every living soul inside without being spotted

One thing I loved in Oblivion and will be doing a lot in Skyrim is breaking into peoples houses at night and stealing their stuff haha :D

anyways this new pick pocket perk tree is pretty B-A!!!

Poison, like others said so many possibilities, like killing a entire town before the first person falls.

I don't pick pockets unless I'm forced to in a quest like the one in Oblivion to get Master Training. That's the only pickpocket stat I've ever had. There's a Perk I'll want though. It's the Extra Pockets-Carrying capacity is increased by 100 option. I'm a loot lover so I need a strong back.

This. Its a complete waste. All of this could have been in sneak, or just not needed at all. they cut to try to get the biggest skill bang for their buck and they decide to make pickpocketing its own skill...pickpocketing. How dumb is that? Bring back H2H. This skill is the definition of false depth.

You don't even know what the sneak perk tree is and H2H is useless. Pickpocket finally has some depth along with lockpicking. I'm glad Bethesda doesn't listen to your opinions because they seem real negative and pointless.

It's because to him the game need to follow some restrict formula that involves Spellmaking and H2H to be good. He (And Gromm) doesn't take in consideration that someone could like to specialize in Pick-pocketing and, you now, being a Thief.

Yes, those. It'll be cold enough in Skyrim that I could wear those under my Mage's Robe. :) Maybe there will be reasons to pick pockets to save the world from Alduin. I'll have to get better at it if so. My Lockpicking was good but I wasn't good at picking pockets.

I will pickpocket the pockets,
and when their owners run out of of carrying capacity
i will carry away the weightless incapaciated victims in their former pockets.

This to the 3rd power. Honestly most of the perks are things that should be the norm for pick pocketing with maybe 4ish perks that fit as perks. Which you could fit under stealth once you remove the that is what your skill should have done in the first place perks, or the hey this replaces agility aren't you glad attributes are gone and you can waste a perk on this now perks.

But out of those perk extra pockets is my favorite because I always seem to need more carrying capacity.

Yeah this does seem kind of silly. Then again I never play as stealthy characters so my weight against the argument may not be as heavy as some but really...

Glad to see that the thread about pickpocketing and what we like has been invaded by people uneededly posting about how they don't like the skill  can we just have a topic for people who enjoy the skill to talk about what they enjoy instead of the army of naysayers raining on everyone's parade :/

Anyway, I like the posion one (poisoned apples were such a hassle to get to work effectively) and the key one, because I love Keys :)

Sadly, I don't like any of them because I think Pickpocketing is a complete waste of a skill and these perks could easily have been a skill tree for Sneak.

Being sneaky does not a pickpocket make. Just because a skill of yours was removed does not make Pickpocketing useless. I *hated* when sneaking could make you immediately good enough at pickpocketing - they aren't the same thing.

Misdirection. Nothing like stealth killing someone with their own sword.
